YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Evelyn Street Day School is a year-round center with year-round enrollment. We implement a balanced approach to teach reading, and a theme-based social studies curriculum, which means that students engage in purposeful and enjoyable learning experiences. In addition to our focus on language arts, social studies, mathematics and science, we devote ample time to the arts. There are many opportunities for independent learning and fun, from blocks to dramatic play. We are looking for summer interns and we offer paid internships and scholarships.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Excel is a comprehensive program that includes academics to promote growth and avoid regression over the summer months, therapeutic activities to assist in making friends and keeping friends, sports to develop skills and build self-esteem and recreational activities just for fun!

Throughout the day, staff members provide encouragement and guidance in using appropriate social skills, giving children the opportunity to experience in the moment learning, learning that stays with them! We recognized the importance of family involvement and offer weekly Parent Groups to provide parenting information and support.

Children attending Camp Excel typically have social skills challenges, are high functioning, do not have significant behavioral issues and would benefit from a very structured, supportive environment. Our campers range in age from 5-17.

Our Summer program is designed to meet your child’s academic, social and emotional needs in a camp-like setting. Our Social Skills Saturday Programs are offered throughout the school year (not during the summer months).

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The camp will be led by Monmouth University's Men's Head Coach Alex Kasarov and Monmouth Men's Assistant Coach, Michael Schwartz. Kasarov was awarded MAAC Conference Coach of the Year in 2017, for leading the men's team to it's back-to-back conference titles (2016 and 2017). Prior to joining Monmouth, Kasarov was Men's Assistant Coach at Davidson College in North Carolina, and Volunteer Women's Assistant Coach at Northwestern University.

In his years before college coaching, Kasarov was a private tennis coach where he worked with top nationally ranked junior players. During his collegiate career, Kasarov was a key member of the University of Wisconsin Men's Tennis Team, competing at the number 1 spot in both Singles and Doubles for three straight years. He was named Team Captain his junior year and earned All-Big Ten honors. In addition, Kasarov earned MVP honors that year and was recipient of the Big Ten Conference Sportsmanship Award. Nationally, Kasarov was ranked as high as eight in Doubles during his career.

Schwartz' tennis career started at the University of Alabama, after being highly ranked as a junior player. In his senior season of 1966 at Alabama, Schwartz had his best year for The Crimson Tide, with a season record of 20-6, while being named Honorable Mention All-SEC.

OTHER CAMP INFO: Campers will spend four hour on the university's tennis courts and an hour in the classroom daily. The camp is designed to help each camper improve skills, while gaining a better understanding of the sport through a variety of drills and strategy sessions, including a special focus on doubles play. The camp will hold a maximum camper to coach ratio of 5 to 1, and participants will be grouped according to ability and age to attain maximum benefits of instruction. In addition to the Monmouth Coaching staff, NCAA D1 players will be part of the coaching councilors.

A high school science teacher for nearly 30 years, she has taught middle school STEM programs during many summers. Coauthor of "Going Gradeless", published by Corwin, she runs workshops and presentations for educators around the country.

Brain Chase is a 6-week summer learning challenge disguised as a massive global treasure hunt for 2nd−8th graders. CAMP FACILITIES: Overnight campers experience life in the outdoors by living in teepees and canvas hogans in family-like small camps of 8 to 10 peers. Every small camp is equipped with canvas shelters housing up to 4 campers, running water for drinking and washing, a non-flushing latrine, and a fire circle for nightly pow wows, songs, and games. There are two centrally-located shower houses for daily hot showers, and a dining hall where breakfast and dinner are served family style.

Since 1887, Trail Blazers has sponsored thousands of children to take part in these outdoor adventures where learning happens experientially — by living and playing together, and experiencing the challenges and opportunities the natural environment offers. Today, Trail Blazers remains the second oldest summer program in existence in the United States, and the first to offer environmental education.

As an ACA accredited camp, we insure that all staff are trained professionals in their area. We certify American Red Cross Life Guards and recruit staff from all over the country and the world with a passion for youth development and the outdoors. Each staff member undergoes a skill screening, intensive interview, reference check, and background check. CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: The Leader-in-Training program at Trail Blazers is designed for current high school students who wish to develop leadership skills through active participation in different aspects of the Trail Blazers Sleep Away program. Our Leaders in Training develop problem-solving skills, teamwork, and environmental consciousness as they learn how to manage the responsibility that comes with being a role model at camp. CAMP FACILITIES: We have 3 air conditioned gorgeous studios. Boarding for out of town Summer Intensive students is located at The Lawerenceville School in our own private accommodations in Haskell House.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: *5 week Summer Intensive June 26 thru July 28 for Intermediate/Advanced dancers ages 11 - 20. Students attend 5 days per week. This program is a full day and includes ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop and pilates/stretch. For ages 8 - 10, the Young Dancer program is a full day and is offered, your choice of 6 weeks June . These dancers will also experience ballet, jazz, modern, pilates, hip hop and stretch.

*Young Dancer Summer Intensive for ages 8+ the week of June 26 thru July 31. This is a full day 9:30 to 3:30 Monday thru Friday. The dancers will experience Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Pilates and Hip Hop. An in-studio presentation will be held each Friday afternoon.

*Lil Dancing Stars ages 3 - 4 and Dancing Stars ages 5 -7 will be held the week of Aug. 7 and Aug. 14. These are a 1/2 day programs of creative movement, share time/circle warm up, dance rehearsal and crafts.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Summer is a very special time when a child seeks to learn, explore and develop new skills, hobbies and interests.

The Camp Louemma program is specifically designed to meet the diverse and ever-expanding recreational needs and interests of our campers. Because our emphasis is on participation, personal achievement and skill attainment rather than on competition alone, campers of every age and skill level are made to feel comfortable and successful.

Through the use of scheduled activity periods and structured electives, each camper can experience a well-rounded program that includes athletics, aquatics, creative and performing arts and outdoor adventure. Our elective program allows each camper to have direct input into their daily schedule. During elective periods campers may wish to try new activities, concentrate on their favorite ones or enhance their existing skills by participating in individualized instruction or clinics. Each activity is conducted in a supportive, encouraging manner by an experienced counselor or specialist.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: At age 15 we offer a Camper-Worker program where every other day the campers help the wait staff in our dining room. This program trains our campers for the following year when they become staff members at age 16. This program is called the WIT program (Workers In Training) where 16 and 17 year olds work as waiters and waitresses in our dining room.

OTHER CAMP INFO: At Camp Louemma we have exciting evening activities such as luaus down at the lake, campfires, pool parties, game show nights, scavenger and treasure hunts, and DJ socials, just to name a few. We also go on several out-of-camp trips each session to places such as Action Park Water-Slide Park, Wawayanda State Park (a lake beach for sand castle building contests and swimming), mine tours, Sussex County Fair, Renaissance Fair, white water rafting, bowling and movies, as well as others.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: At MehtA+, we ignite student passion for engineering. Our offerings are catered towards students from Kindergarten to College Freshman and involve a fusion of the humanities and the sciences. We believe the best way to learn something is to apply it and as such, all of our opportunities are application-based.

Our bootcamps give students an in-depth opportunity to learn concepts that are normally taught at the university level, while our workshops serve as a fantastic introduction to a new subject. In order to make engineering education more accessible, our digital kits are always free to everyone and allow students to create something awesome. Volunteerships are offered to former students who are looking to volunteer their time and apply what they have learned for social good, as they intern for one of our clients.

CAMP FACILITIES: We have a brand new activities building for girls to eat their lunch, programming and more. Our pools offers us the ability for all girls to go swimming and have swim lessons daily, as well as offer a specialty aquatics program. Platform tents, tebins, pavilions and our cabin provide additional program space. Additional program areas include archery, a low ropes course with a zipline, maker space and large fields offer a wide variety of activities.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp sessions run from July 7 through August 13. Camp DeWitt offers two experiences: General and Specialty.

General Camp programs are designed for girls entering grades K-10 and provide a broad camp experience with varied activities and pool time daily. General Camp programs enable you to experience an array of camp activities every day.

Our Specialty Camp programs are designed for girls entering grades 2-10. Activities are grouped according to program, age, and interest level. Specialty Camp programs focus on a particular interest combined with traditional camp activities like hiking, cook-outs, crafts, and games.

GSHNJ camps are a place where each and every girl can feel safe, valued and supported while making new friends and challenging themselves to try new things. Camp staff is committed to ensuring the health, safety and overall well-being of all campers. GSHNJ camps follow the program standards for health, safety and security guidelines of GSHNJ, GSUSA, ACA, and the New Jersey Youth Camp Standards.

Day camp sessions will run from July 6 through August 14 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday for girls entering Kindergarten to grade 10. In addition to the program theme, girls will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of camp activities which may include hiking, outdoor cooking, nature activities, games, sports, singing, archery (grades 2 and up) and a low ropes course. Our activities building will offer shelter from extreme heat and major storms. Specialty Camp programs focus on a particular interest combined with traditional camp activities like hiking, cook-outs, crafts and games.

Our camp program is based on the values of the Girl Scout Promise and Law. Several of our programs are designed for girls to earn a full badge during the time at camp. Other program may also earn badges or parts of badges. This information will be available after your daughter’s stay at camp.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Earn your Girl Scouts CIT award as you master your leadership and counseling skills. Discover your personal leadership style as you work to identify and build on the strengths you already possess. Participate in activities that teach you skills, attitudes, and behaviors necessary to become a successful counselor in your first week, then work directly with younger campers during your second week.

Camp Agnes DeWitt hires enthusiastic and dedicated adults to provide our summer camp program for girls. All camp staff participate in one week of pre-camp training conducted by trained professionals and many have taken additional training in their specialty areas. All waterfront activities are supervised by American Red Cross certified lifeguards.

Camp DeWitt follows the program standards for health, safety and security guidelines of GSHNJ, GSUSA, the American Camp Association, as well as the New Jersey Youth Camp Standards.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: About the Owner of Soccer Development Schools...

Born and raised in England, Coach Tyler comes from a solid professional upbringing in soccer. He has worked and played with many successful clubs and coaches which has granted him invaluable experience that he hopes to pass on to young soccer players. Training and playing with professionals taught him the importance of preparation, nutrition, and a positive attitude. In addition to the technical side of the game, Coach Tyler feels these are all vital to educating aspiring players.

Coach Tyler played professionally for Cambridge, Stevenage and Rushden and Diamonds in England. He also played on his county and district team. In addition, he played and coached in the FA Cup. Most recently, Coach Tyler was a professional coach at English premier league team West Bromwich Albion FC and Football Development Schools before moving permanently to the USA in 2010. Since being in the USA, he has coached for various clubs and academies. Currently, Coach Tyler holds FA, USSF and AYSO certifications.

During the past 10 years, Coach Tyler has coached a range of ages (3 to 18 years old) and ability levels from beginner to advanced. He has been responsible for tactical/technical, physical, social and mental coaching as well as basic fundamentals of the game. In addition, Coach Tyler has developed curriculums for players and coaches for West Bromwich Albion FC, Football Development Schools and various American clubs. His endless energy, enthusiasm and patience make him an extremely successful coach to players of all ages.

Soccer Development Schools, LLC was founded in 2011 by Coach Luke. As a professional year-round coach, Coach Luke dedicates all of his time to coaching and expanding Soccer Development Schools, LLC. Soccer is his career and passion!

CAMP FACILITIES: We have three total locations (2 in California, Irvine, and Yorba Linda). 1 in Chatham, NJ. Regarding the California locations, we have two offices and ample recreation space in each location. There is also a clubhouse in Yorba Linda called (the Troy Club) that is where we host activities for the Summer Camp. The Troy Club has an ample gathering space, a playground, tables and seating, and a large heated pool.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: SFCC uses a behavioral program to replace ineffective, inappropriate behaviors with positive and effective behaviors. Because the camp environments are similar to the camper’s natural environments, it is very likely that the behaviors taught at SFCC will generalize to the individual’s natural settings (home, school, etc.).

Professional & Crazy Fun Staff — Our Educators teach for us all year round. They live and breathe our renowned curriculum, and they’ve been practicing our trademark camp games for years, so they are more than ready to rumble.

Summer Program Director Cora Garner is an American Camp Association Member. She came to us after working at Cornell University, Stanford University, and most recently the University of California, Berkeley. Through her work in Higher Education, she has developed and taught courses that focus on identity and community development.

At Girls Leadership we want you to be true-to-you. Every day starts with community games. Our theatre-based workshops focus on developing personal and societal leadership, such as how to ask for what you need. In these sessions girls practice new tools for speaking up for themselves and for others.

We also create beautiful art projects, stay active outside, and always have a spirit theme for the day. These activities are designed to encourage girls to embrace who they are, reflect on what they believe, and give them an opportunity to express themselves creatively.

CAMP FACILITIES: KiddiePreneur Summer Academy is located in a business environment. Children will receive a 1st hand KiddiePreneur experience at our facility located in Hoboken, NJ.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our original KiddiePreneur Curriculum is tailored to fit the needs and understanding of today’s youth and teens. The academy is taught by KiddiePreneur founder, so participants will receive first hand training from the guru herself. Participants will receive 60 hours of KiddiePreneur business training throughout the course of 4 weeks.

Our Academy is setup in the bustling downtown Jersey City Financial District. Participants are surrounded by successful professionals from various walks of life. Guest speakers and trips throughout the building to understand the day and life of a business owner are just some of the exciting aspects of this program.

All participants will also receive a Just 4 U Kids KiddiePreneur completion certificate, a t-shirt and an e-copy of Chrissy Steed's book "The KiddiePreneur in You".

CAMP FACILITIES: Rustic cabins surround the large play field and provide a cool retreat after fun in the sun. Miles of hiking trails surround the camp. Girls have the opportunity to enjoy nature and spend time in small and large group activities.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Day camp sessions run from July 6 - August 14 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m, Monday through Friday, for girls entering grades K to 10. Before and after care is also available.

Girls are grouped according to age in units. Girls participate in a program theme each week along with art studio, hiking, outdoor cooking, nature, sports, games, archery (grades 2 and up), and all-camp activities. During their time at camp, girls will develop a sense of responsibility and independence in a relaxed, non-competitive setting.

Campers in grades 4 and up can opt to participate in an 1-night overnight during sessions 2,4,6.

OTHER CAMP INFO: Our camp program is based on the values of the Girl Scout Promise and Law. Several of our programs are designed for girls to earn a full badge or part of a badge during their time at camp.

The OVAL Day Camp provides fun and education programs that are designed to give girls new and unique opportunities to learn, grow, and make friends.

All staff participate in a week of pre-camp training where they become oriented to the camp, job responsibilities, procedures, and rules and work on their counseling and camp skills. The OVAL follows the program standards for health, safety, and security guidelines of GSHNJ, GSUSA, the American Camp Association and the New Jersey Youth Camp Standards are followed.

CAMP FACILITIES: Our New Providence facility houses large rehearsal studios, dance rooms, and lesson rooms. Our Musical Theater Camp is held at the campus of The Pingry School in Basking Ridge, where we rehearse and perform in spacious dance rooms, 2 main-stage theaters, and choir rooms. We have lunch in a large, sunny cafeteria.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Musical Theater Camp: In the morning we participate in skill-based classes in dance, acting and musical theater. After lunch there is a "wildcard" session in which we do something different each day. Past wildcards have included: master classes with Billy Elliot's (and the new film of Annie's) Stephanie Kurtzuba, master classes with film, T.V. and Broadway casting directors Paul Russell and Bobby Cline, workshop with technical director Brian Lynch, Hip-Hop Choreography, Theater Dance with Laura Chaneski, Playwriting, Poster Design, Musical Theater History and Voice Class.

The last two hours of camp is our Performance Workshop, where we will be preparing for our performance which will be held on the Friday night at the end of each session on a professional stage. Our staff boasts extensive professional credits including Broadway, Off-Broadway, National Tours, regional theater, concert stage, television, film, and commercials. One of our young campers from last summer went directly from our camp to a starring role on Broadway as Lulu in Sarah Bareilles' hit musical Waitress! She performed a number that she had learned at our camp during her Waitress audition.

The New Jersey Jazz Academy at Elefante Music hosts 2 summer camps: Elefante All-Star Jazz Ensemble Camp and Jammin' Jazz Juniors Camp. These camps are unique opportunities for experienced jazz players. Students will pick up solid skills to enhance their school ensembles Both camps culminate in a Friday night performance on the last day of camp.

Dance/Drama Intensive Camp: In Dance Intensive, students: - Learn a variety of dance styles - Improve overall technique - Take classes in: Ballet, Tap, Lyrical, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop, Musical Theater & More! - Rehearse for the Dance Performance at end of week! In Drama Intensive, students explore: - Acting/Improv Games - Character Development, Set Design & Costumes, Props - Get their own part, script and lines - Rehearse for a play to be performed at the end of the week.

At Rock Band Camp campers will play in a wide range of contemporary musical styles (rock, R&B, soul, etc.) and will learn what it's like to be "studio musicians" - artists who provide backing for bands and soloists in recording studios and in live performances. Rock camp culminates in a Friday night performance on the last day of camp.

At our NEW Percussion Camp, percussionists will work with internationally recognized guest artists and clinicians in many different percussion disciplines.

Broadway Beginners camp: children aged 3-5 enjoy a wonderful camp experience as singing, dancing, and acting is seamlessly integrated into a 1/2 day of fun!

Acting for the Camera Camp: Here's a unique and fun opportunity to study the techniques used by film, television, and commercial actors. Learn how to make the camera work for you. Each camper will receive his/her own video "reel" at the end of the camp.

Just Strings Camp is a week dedicated to violin, viola, cello, and bass players! Play fun pieces in an ensemble setting. Improve intonation and create a beautiful tone.

Jump-Start Instrumental Camp. Kids starting the first year on their school instruments will enter their school bands or orchestras confident and ready to make music!

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Program: Agape Leaders Institute Summer Debate Camp Series (NY / NJ)

With 11-Locations throughout NY and NJ, Agape Leaders debate courses provide instruction and practice in the art of public speaking, with an emphasis on debate. Course options: 1-week or 7-weekend sessions. Students learn the fundamentals of debate through argument, public speaking, strategic thinking, strategy, and communication style.

Students train to compete in debate tournaments, are taught the skill of case-writing, rebuttals, cross-examination skills, analytical thinking, and philosophy. Students utilize instruction while in class, with the use of handouts, utilizing internet searches and websites, as well as conducting their own independent research to further advance their study and skills of debate.

CAMP FACILITIES: At the back of the Burlington County Special Services School (Lumberton Campus), you will find our specialty soccer school. Specifically designed for keen soccer individuals, our facility allows us to develop fun and effective training activities to enhance our players.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Two-time Olympic gold medalist Carli Lloyd will be holding her seventh annual soccer camp from 9am-1pm on August 9, 2014 in Lumberton, NJ.

Young soccer players ages 9 to 18 will have the unique opportunity to learn from the United States’ midfielder and her longtime training staff. Carli will be on site all day sharing stories and demonstrating the techniques that have allowed her to compete at the highest level.

August 9th marks the 2 year anniversary of the gold medal match between the US Women’s National Team and Japan in which the US was victorious with a score of 2-1 (both US goals netted by Carli Lloyd).

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): The Parent, Volleyball and Me program provides young volleyball players the opportunity to receive training from a certified instructor on the solid foundation of volleyball and emphasizing good habits from the very beginning. Each training session (8 in total) will build upon a solid foundation of all fundamental movement and the skills needed to participate in the sport of volleyball. The program may also include some competition or game-like drills, volleyball scrimmages and other organized activities.

Parents will also benefit by spending time with their kids thus enhancing their relations from the sport they both are learning as well as having a more realistic view of the different developmental stages of a player from 5 – 7 years old (Fundamentals) to introduction to league and/or recreational play for ages 8 - 10. Those players who have developed their fundamental skills may move on to a more competitive environment (club or travel local team). It is a very fun, positive, confidence building, and supportive training and learning atmosphere.

OTHER CAMP INFO: Camp Oakhurst, established in 1906, is operated by New York Service for the Handicapped (NYSH), an independent non-profit social service agency with offices in New York City and Oakhurst, New Jersey. NYSH serves children, teens and adults with physical and developmental disabilities, including autism. Our campus is fully accessible and barrier free for wheelchair users, including our heated swimming pool, and is only about 55 miles south of New York City. Transportation from New York City is available. While we have a 9 week summer camp program, we also provide over 150 days of year-round overnight respite stays of 2-7 days in length and offer a day recreation program for adults living in Monmouth County, NJ.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Starting now kids ages three to 14 can enroll in an array of summer camp experiences available from June 15 – September 4, 2015 at Middletown Arts Center (MAC). MAC Camp goes beyond typical summer offerings with creative arts and STEM oriented programs, available the entire summer in half or full day sessions, with per week options. CAMP FACILITIES: Founded in 1838, The Pennington School encompasses 54 acres complete with an outdoor track and nearby running trails. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Campers are grouped by age and gender and are closely supervised. Junior Camp, ages 3 – 6, are placed in small groups and led through pre-set activities. Middle Campers, 7-9, and Senior Campers, 10-12, participate in an elective program in addition to their regular schedule.

Our Counselor-In-Training (CIT) Program, ages 13-14, have the best of both worlds, since they get to be campers half the day and train for staff positions the other half. CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: CIT (Counselor-In-Training) Program For Teens Entering 10th Grade 9 am-4 pm (8 weeks) Participants in the CIT Program have the opportunity to develop the skills and experience they need to become camp counselors in summers to come. CIT's participate in special sessions on group dynamics, Jewish programming and leadership training. They develop a close group made up of other teens in leadership capacities and receive support, assistance and guidance throughout the camp season. CAMP FACILITIES: Jockey Hollow Day Camp offers a large "L" shaped swimming pool, Low Ropes Challenge Course with Zip Line, Equestrian Center, archery range, large playing field, flowing stream, and adventurous hiking trails. Jockey Hollow is accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA). CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: A 2-week CIT program for girls entering 9th grade (and 14 yrs. of age by July 5) is offered Sessions 1 & 2. During the first week, girls will develop the skills needed to mentor younger girls and understand their needs in a camp setting. During the second week the CIT's will use their newly-acquired skills under the guidance of camp counselors in the units. Girls who completed the CIT program the previous summer can participate in the 2-week CIT II program held Sessions 1 & 2. The first week, girls will focus on one of the four specialty areas of camp, as well as learn safety and risk management and unit planning. During the second week the girls will be assigned to a specialist who will supervise them as they plan and execute activities for the campers and work alongside unit staff. CIT II's will also plan and execute a portion of the All Camp Program. CIT and CIT II's are encouraged to volunteer for any or all of the remaining weeks of the camp season.

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Girl members of Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey may apply for Financial Aid. Form is posted on our website. Must be submitted by April 17.

OTHER CAMP INFO: Girls entering 3rd and up can opt to participate in a one night overnight held during Sessions 2, 3, & 4. Teen theme focused programs offered every session to girls entering 6th grade and up. Select from STEM, Cooking, Fine Arts and Survivor to name a few. Very popular daily 1.5 hr.Pony program for girls entering 1st-3rd grade and daily 2 hr. Horsemanship program for girls entering 4th-8th grade.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: May 13, 2014 - Match Fit Academy FC and Montclair United Soccer Clubhave announced a second phase to their successful strategic alliance and the creation of Match Fit Montclair United.

The goal is to build upon the success of the current partnership by elevating select Montclair United teams to compete under the newly formed Match Fit Montclair United brand.

Montclair United has a track record of assembling and developing teams for all abilities from U8-U14 both boys and girls. With the introduction of Match Fit Montclair United, players will compete regionally in high-level leagues and tournaments, providing for a seamless pathway to the USSF Development Academy and Elite Clubs National League at U14 and beyond.

Elite coaches that include international athletes from the FIFA & Olympic competition levels.

CAMP FACILITIES: Summit has approx. 30 traditional wooden cabins with electric and private facilities in each cabin. Our main buildings include our newly refinished dining hall, air-conditioned recreational hall, our medical facility, and a newly built outdoor pavilion. Summit utilizes three A frame buildings for our arts programs, a wilderness treehouse with camp fire area for cookouts, newly resurfaced basketball/tennis courts, high/low ropes course with climbing wall, heated pool, private lake, nature fields with a farm area, martial arts dojo, go-kart track with 3 karts. Summit has a small amphitheatre adjacent to our lake, with a miraculous view of our beautiful setting where we enjoy swimming, canoeing, and riding our banana boats. Our camp resides on a gently rising hillside, thus providing us with the physical basis for our motto, "The Magic on the Hill."

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Summit Camp is a co-ed sleepaway camp for ages 8-19 years with issues of attention: AD/HD, HFA/Asperger’s Disorder, and/or learning differences. Using the frame of a traditional sleepaway camp, we create platforms of success where our campers can experience outcomes such as improved self-esteem, lasting friendships, and increased independence. This is accomplished through a well-orchestrated and expertly staffed backdrop to a largely traditional camp experience- guided challenges, waterfront, adventure course, and more. It is our goal and desire to take our campers from observing peer interactions to engaging in them, to learn and celebrate their own strengths and successes, and to feel a sense of belonging and shared community with those around them while they are with us.

Our Teen Travel program extends the Summit community to provide a safe yet exciting adventure to one of our many attractive national and international destination tours offering 14 day and 19 day excursions. Summit Weekenders provide a youth-group style social retreat for adolescents to have an oasis of independence, enjoyment, and success during the school year months. Regardless of the specific program, Summit provides an expertly staffed, highly structured, and truly fun experience for our youth, and has been doing so since 1969. Summit is accredited by the American Camp Association and takes pride in our long term commitment to and successes in working with special needs youth.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Our Transitions to Adult Living Skills program for youth aged 15-19 provides learning and vocational opportunities for our teens. We also have vocational programs for upper camp including, big brother/big sister, waiter/waitressing, working in a specialty area or as UL assistant, photography, and more. Our SUPER TEEN program focuses on building the executive function and daily living skills OUR kids needs to succeed as independently as possible.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Summit provides weekender programs in metropolitan areas throughout the country which run from Friday evening until Sunday mid-day that provide an oasis of social involvement for our youth. NY/NJ and DC/VA weekenders meet on a monthly basis.
