CAMP PROGRAM INFO: We only accept serious players with previous competitive soccer experience. Every year talented players attend our camps and challenge each other to the limit, growing in skill and experience. A number of our campers have experienced training trials with professional clubs in Holland. Our programs are designed to help players achieve their maximum potential through progressive exercises that are individually challenging, as well as appropriate to the age and ability of each player.

We fly in our coaches directly from the Netherlands. They are not merely coaches: they are also teachers. Many of our coaches have graduated from a four- year CIOS College. At the Central Institution of Sports, coaches not only received their coaching licenses from the global leader in soccer development: KNVB (Royal Dutch Soccer Federation) but also learn how to work with, encourage and incentivize young athletes. Every camp group will have the same Dutch coach for the entire week. Our coaches will get to know each of the players in their group and can coach them individually, assessing their needs and improving the specific areas best for them.

They are both Harvard-educated and their 5 children were the inspiration behind the creation of this revolutionary new summer program

Brain Chase is a 6-week summer learning challenge disguised as a massive global treasure hunt for 2nd−8th graders. A golden globe has been buried somewhere on earth – and it contains the key to a safe deposit box holding a $10,000 college scholarship fund. Participants who complete an hour of online summer learning activities each day will unlock secret animated webisodes that hold the clues to the globe’s whereabouts. Guess the treasure’s location first, and you’ll be the one on a plane to dig it up.

CAMP FACILITIES: We have 17 cabins, beautiful waterfront swimming and games, recreation hall, dining hall, outdoor basketball courts, sand volleyball courts, large outdoor activity space ("The Grinder"), beautiful wooden chapel, lake-side amphitheater, updated headquarters, and trail around the island. We offer tubing, skiing, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, and many other fun activities.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Onaway is a 6.5 acre island located on the Chain O' Lakes near Waupaca, Wisconsin. Since 1908, the Brigade has offered camps at Onaway Island as an extension of the Building Leaders program at our building in Neenah. Today, camps are available June-August for boys and girls who have completed grades 4-12 the previous school year.

Along with our small list of paid staff members, Camp Onaway is lead by hundreds of volunteer camp leaders who are passionate about the "Onaway Magic" youth experience.

Bri is a passionate artist and art educator. Bri teaches K-6th grade art at Jefferson and McDill Elementary Schools in Stevens Point, Wisconsin and holds an Early Childhood through Adolescence teaching license in Art Education issued by the state of Wisconsin. Bri is First Aid/CPR/AED certified through the American Red Cross Association. As an art educator, Bri fosters a safe and nurturing environment for students to freely explore ideas through art-making.

Mike is a Stevens Point-based sculptor, painter, mixed media artist, and a true explorer of ideas. In his work, Mike delves into the places of connection and disconnect among the natural world, human society, and technology. Mike’s work can be found at sculpture parks, exhibitions, and health care facilities, as well as public and private collections, throughout the Great Lakes region. Mike also serves on the board of the Stevens Point Sculpture Park.

-Participate in workshops led by APT acting company members along with other APT artistic and camp staff.
Workshops include text work, movement, voice, audition skills and ensemble building.
-Have a team building exercise on the Bethel Horizons high ropes course.
-Attend the following APT 2017 performances: Cyrano de Bergerac (7/16), The Maids (7/18), A Flea in her Ear (7/19), and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (7/20) and have post show discussions as a camp group.
-Work with staff directors daily as actors on a theater selection, to be performed on APT's Hill Theatre stage at the end of camp. This year campers will be working on Romeo and Juliet.

CAMP FACILITIES: Once a city park situated on the shores of Lake Michigan, Carthage College offers Vogelsinger students a state-of-the-art turf field stadium and grass fields for training. Our goal is to create an environment—a GAME-LIKE ATMOSPHERE—through dynamic teaching and coaching by explanation, demonstration and participation to assist each player in creating a METHOD TO SELF-TEACH.

CAMP FACILITIES: We have 24 cabins, a multi purpose Chadar, indoor/outdoor basketball courts, Ulam (theater), and magnificent beach. In 2013, we completed our Beit Ruach, a brand-new 12,000 sq. ft. gym with amazing spaces for dance and yoga besides 2 basketball courts, another new Haks (showerhouse), a new building to added to Amanut (arts and crafts), a bigger and better Marpeah (infirmary), and some new staff housing for professional staff like our new Rabbi.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Located on 120 acres in Webster, WI on the shores of Devils Lake, Herzl Camp is accredited with the American Camping Association and offers summers filled with friendship and fun! Health & Safety
Herzl Camp provides medical coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at camp with full-time nurses and doctors. Our Marpeah (Health Center) staff care for all routine health issues at camp without charge. Emergency services are provided at nearby Burnett County Medical Center, a fully-equipped trauma center. Campers who take medications regularly must receive their prescriptions through our specialty prescription service.

Food
We serve three healthy, nutritious kosher meals and a Nosh (snack) each day. Whole grains, fresh veggies and ripe fruit are on the menu for every meal. Meals are served family-style with vegetarian options for all meals.

Judaics at Camp
As an independent, pluralistic camp, we’ve created uniquely "Herzl" Jewish programming and education, including daily Limmudim or T'fillot. Shabbat services are led by a different camper program each week with guidance from our Chinuch staff. At Herzl Camp, Conservative, Reconstructionist, Reform, and Modern Orthodox children pray and learn together daily.

Shabbat is a restful time at Herzl and rich with tradition. We dress in white and welcome Shabbat with song and a caravan to services. Candles are lit. Hands are washed. Kiddush. Motzi. A delicious meal followed by Birkat and singing. The Torah is read every week. Throughout Shabbat, we alter our activities to make the day more restful, more reverent, and different from the rest of the week. Shabbat ends with the entire camp participating in Havdala together.

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Herzl Camp Financial Aid - Through generous donations from our friends and alumni, Herzl Camp offers need-based financial aid. If your child wants to be at camp, we’ll work with you to make it happen. Fill out our short application and return it to us with the supporting documentation by February 15. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Since 1979, Skyhawks sports has led safe, fun and skill-focused sports camps and programs for youth between the ages of 3-12.

We offer many different different sports--and countless ways for your child to grow. The camps range from soccer to baseball to our popular mulit-sport camps where kids sample three different sports (soccer, basketball and baseball) in one camp.

Our camps and programs are offered locally throughout over 500 communities. The format includes traditional week-long summer day camps and year-round after-school programs that range from 45 minutes to 6 hours in duration, per day. At Skyhawks we go the extra mile to focus on safety, and we have a long-standing proven safety track record and processes to prove it. For example, all Skyhawks Sports camps start and end with our unique safety process called "Gate System and Parking Lot Duty." This process is where coaches come and greet both parents and campers in the parking lot when parents pull up to drop off their children.

Our staff guide the kids onto the field/court and out of harm's way by funneling them into our gate system. Eye contact is maintained from each one of our staff members until the kids make it onto the field/court where they are grouped by age. This efficient process ensures safety. CAMP FACILITIES: The Central Wisconsin Environmental Station (CWES) offers premier summer camp options. The Station is located 19 miles east of Stevens Point amid rolling hills and on Sunset Lake, with 200 acres of towering red and white pines, hardwoods, wetlands and lakes. Campers stay in Scandinavian-style log cabins and enjoy meals featuring local and organic food. Cabins sleep eight runners in each, with one cabin sleeping 12. Teams can be housed in the same cabin, single gender. The modern bathhouse and shower facility is located within the cabin loop.

Wireless access is available in the Sunset and Walker lodges.

CWES also provides plenty of opportunity for recreation with swimming and boating on Sunset Lake, fire pit for evening gathering, hiking trails, and team building activities.CWES is a 200-acre teaching and learning center located 17 miles east of Stevens Point, WI.

Camp Timberlane is an independent boys’ camp in the beautiful North Woods of Wisconsin, and we are looking for male and female activity instructors and counselors. Our site encompasses over 270 acres of land and we are situated on the beautiful shores of Lake Towanda. Campers come from all across the U.S. and their ages range from 8 - 15 years. Our two four-week sessions accommodate approximately 160 campers, about half of whom stay for all eight weeks.

Our philosophy and program are genuinely non-competitive, placing the importance of fun and friendship far above all else. Our broad range of activities includes water and land-based activities, crafts, and a substantial wilderness trips program. Our staff of 85 - 90 dedicated people benefits from great support and exceptional training from experts in the fields of recreation and child development. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: At Camp Eagle Ridge, we help young people become solution finders and social navigators, so that they become successful adults. Camp Eagle Ridge is a boys and girls summer leadership camp located in Mellen, Wisconsin. Our mission is to develop strong leaders, healthy living skills, and a sense of community responsibility.

We combine a traditional summer camp experience with a focus on leadership, decision making and achieving your personal best! On March 9, 2013, Camp Eagle Ridge was honored with the Marcy & Bob Brower Award! It was presented to us at the Mid States Camping Conference. The award honors a camp or individual that is dedicated to lifelong learning and the education that comes from exposure to ideas and the common purpose of helping camps in the development of children and adults.

CAMP SESSION DATES & FEES:

CAMP FACILITIES: Campers are housed in dorm style rooms in our state of the art Lodge which overlooks our 1920's Pioneer Airport. This active airport supports aircraft from the 1920's and 30's.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Each session includes a flight with a CFI (Certified Flight Instructor) in a real airplane where campers, after take-off, take control of the aircraft and learn the various attitudes and wonders of the aircraft and where their flight time can be log in their own personal logbook. The camps provide a wonderful introduction to aviation and an experience that will last a lifetime. All fees include room and board, programs and flight. EAA AIR ACADEMY: For young people ages 12-18, the EAA Air Academy is an experience of a lifetime that takes their interest in aviation to the next level. From the moment they arrive, the sky is the goal—not the limit—as a dynamic aviation experience unfolds and close friendships are formed with fellow aviation enthusiasts.

For many, the EAA Air Academy becomes an important stepping stone for personal development and a lifelong love of aviation.

Participants spend a week at the purpose-built Air Academy Lodge in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, completely immersed in the thrilling world of aviation. Top-notch instructors with more than 350 years of combined teaching experience help students explore the world of flight through a variety of “in-the-air” and “on-the-ground” activities.

Young Eagles Camp (For ages 12 and 13)

The Young Eagles Camp is designed as an introduction to the wonderful world of aviation. This program uses small group activities and close counselor relationships to present the basics of flight in a “science camp” format that is a unique combination of fun and discovery. Basic ground instruction and recreation flight experiences highlight this meaningful, action-packed camp.

Basic Air Academy (For ages 14 and 15)

The EAA Basic Air Academy is the next exciting step through the world of aviation. Each “hands-on” activity is designed to interest and challenge the intermediate 14- and 15-year-olds during a classroom and media presentation, specialized laboratory activities, and aviation-related demonstrations. Intermediate ground instruction and recreation flight experiences highlight this meaningful, action-packed camp.

Advanced Air Academy (For ages 16, 17 and 18)

The EAA Advanced Air Academy provides an atmosphere for mature students to become totally immersed in the world of aviation, including full participation in EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. Advanced classroom, ground instruction and recreation flight experiences highlight this meaningful, action-packed camp.

All fees include: Expert instruction, materials, and meals, lodging in the EAA Air Academy Lodge, introductory flights in an aircraft and helicopter, and AirVenture admission (for Advanced Air Academy participants). Transportation to and from Oshkosh is the responsibility of the participants.

CAMP FACILITIES: Camp Evelyn is near Plymouth, Wisconsin. We have a beautiful lake, a flowing river, and a sparkling swimming pool.

Camp Manitou in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, is on the banks of Serenity Lake in Manitowoc County and is graced with deep forests, rolling trails, and even a disc golf course.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Have you enjoyed camp for years and think you could be a great camp counselor? Build your leadership resume and learn about girls’ needs and wants. Explore the basics of developing and delivering camp activities. During this session you will work on a small group Take Action project. CIT I’s have the option to complete the American Red Cross babysitting certificate.

SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
We are looking for qualified staff who are excited about helping girls grow strong and are committed to their jobs. Students in all fields will benefit by working with children in an informal setting. Applicants should realize that the job of a camp staff is challenging, demanding and requires a great deal of patience and understanding. We invest in our staff by providing the highest quality training so they are equipped to face opportunities and challenges with newly gained skills. Thank you for your interest in working at camp!

Overview of position: Coordinate, plan, teach and implement creative, enjoyable and challenging camp activities for campers. Counselors are the primary care giver for each camper. You will be responsible for a group of 15-30 girls on a daily basis ensuring their safety and health and managing their behavior.

CAMP FACILITIES: We are a free range adventure bases out of northern Michigan, however we travel throughout the region. We live out of our tents and backpacks (when we aren't staying at a nice resort).

CAMP FACILITIES: We are on a 75 acre peninsula property, tucked between the Northern Highland Forest. We have 9 cabins, 5 platform tents, and a Yurt village consisting of 4 Yurts. We also have our own island, that we like to use frequently. We have a health lodge, with two full time nurses and 2 larger staff lodges. Our dinning hall that can fit even our largest sessions. Swimming, Canoe, Sailing, & Waters-ski docks on our pristine Rest Lake. Craft barn, Archery & Riflery Ranges, Horse Arena & Stables, Amphitheater, Rec-square with basketball courts and playground.

CAMP FACILITIES: The 80+ acre campsite includes a spacious dining hall (Chadar Ochel), kosher kitchen, an air-conditioned recreation hall (Beit Am), and 20 acres of waterfront property that includes water skiing, tubing, kayaking, sailing, canoeing, and swimming.

Our sports facilities include two basketball courts, softball diamond, soccer fields, two tennis courts, an archery range, and a ropes course with a 41-foot climbing tower and 300 foot zip line.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: CYJ is not affiliated with any particular stream of Judaism. Our goal is to provide our campers with the tools to make choices about their Jewish Identity and connection to Israel. Our campers and staff come from a broad spectrum of backgrounds in Jewish beliefs and practices. We have our own Siddur (prayer book) and our own traditions when it comes to observance. The backgrounds of our campers range from those that haven’t had much exposure to Judaism in their communities, to those that identify themselves as Orthodox. Our kitchen is Kosher, with certification and oversight from Kosher Supervisors of Wisconsin. We aim to create a sense of K’lal Yisrael, unity among the Jewish people, starting with the community we create at camp.
