BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Hopewell Valley YMCA is the best summer destination spot in Mercer County!!! Here at camp, campers get to have fun like no other. We have camps designed to fit the needs of all campers and activities that the campers will never forget.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Fine Arts/Crafts, Basketball, Baseball, Soccer, Swimming, Science, Academics, and more. Weekly Trips, Daily Swimming, Daily Group Activities: Arts & Crafts, Science, Games & More.
CAMP LOCATION: We are located at Toll Gate Grammar School during the summer for our Day Camp. The YMCA physical office is located at 62 South Main St, Pennington, NJ 08534
CAMP FACILITIES: Camp Reign operates on the spacious grounds of Toll Gate Grammar, which is located within the Hopewell Valley Regional School District.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: CAMP REIGN is a State Licensed Day Camp and accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA). Accreditation is voluntary and means our camp meets over 300 standards in health and safety, which allows us to provide a greet camp environment for all campers. Our staff is highly trained and ready to make summer a memorable one for every camper.
All staff are trained in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers in addition to receiving over 25 hours of pre-camp training. Staff are selected for their maturity, special skills, entusiasim and experience. Staff are skilled and geared up to teach campers to have fun and create a safe and caring atmosphere.
Each program is designed around a curriculum which is structured to help children live a healthy lifestyle while learning about teamwork, building self-esteem, discovering new creative endeavors, and making lasting friendships!
CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Campers in grades 8-9 can sign up for our Leaders in Training program and learn what it takes to be a counselor. Campers will also learn key skills and information to further their individual leadership.
