From kayaking to triathlons, swimming races, and exhilarating running competitions, there’s never a dull moment. CAMP FACILITIES: At 200 feet, the Oliver Hazard Perry is the first ocean-going full-rigged ship to be built in the U.S. in over 100 years. It is the largest civilian sail training vessel in America. She has berths for 49 people overnight, and with 17 crew, a low camper to crew ratio creates a safe and fun environment. The ship is equipped with a steel hull, 3 masts, with square sails on all three masts, 20 sails totaling 14,000 square feet, and 7 miles of rope and wire. The engines run on a bio-diesel blend, and the ship is equipped with a modern galley (on-board kitchen), central air, an on-deck science lab, a library and wheel-chair accessibility above and below decks.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: With 17 professional crew and a capacity for 30-34 campers, our program promotes a dynamic and safe learning environment with a 2:1 ratio of campers to instructors. Campers will feel the thrill of steering a 500-ton ship, and learn to work the yards and sails while exploring the beautiful coasts of New England. They will learn safety at sea and perform important safety drills while acquiring skills in navigation, seamanship, sail handling, knots, and the language of the boat. Campers will explore the underwater world through snorkeling. They will understand wind, waves, tides and the ecology of sandy and rocky seashores. Sunsets, sunrises and the night sky will serve as the backdrop for this incredible experience, in addition to marine phosphorescence, dolphins and whales. Teamwork is an integral part of success onboard the boat, and in addition to learning about themselves, and achieving things they never imagined, they will make friendships to last a lifetime.
CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: In addition to witnessing the natural magic of the ocean and its inhabitants, each student crew will make friendships to last a lifetime. Campers will take responsibility for themselves and their fellow shipmates, learning to work as a team with others as they hoist and brace the yards on the ship's 130-foot tall rig and apply acquired navigational skills to guide the ship's course on a voyage of discovery.
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: As a non-profit organization we are committed to making this amazing experience available to everyone. Because we are new, an endowment for scholarships is still being developed, however the first 10 sign ups will receive a 10% discount! Please contact us for group discounts. CAMP FACILITIES: At Wabikon, campers live in large wooden cabins which sleep 8 to 10 campers and 2 staff members. The camp is divided into sections with the girls' cabins on one side of camp and the boys' cabins on the other. Cabins for our younger campers are located near the centre of camp, very close to shower and washroom facilities as well the large Dining and Recreation Hall and the Medical Lodge. Each section has washroom facilities close by which are equipped with electricity, individual shower stalls and flush toilets.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Wabikon is dedicated to the traditional ideals of personal development, friendship and cooperation. It is the strong belief of the Bernardo family that the camp's cooperative philosophy can best be achieved by limiting the number of campers per session to create a smaller, more intimate environment where each camper can feel like a valued member of the Wabikon family. In addition to Wabikon's full range of daily activities, our program also includes various dramatic and theme based programs mixed in throughout the session. These programs may be afternoon, evening or all day programs and organized as cabin, section or all-camp events. They are a great way to break up the daily routine with some creative, age-appropriate fun and provide an excellent opportunity for teamwork and team play.
CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS:
Each summer, 16/17 year-old youth from around the world travel to Temagami for Camp Wabikon's excellent Counsellor-in-Training, or 'C.I.T.' Leadership program. The six week program is carefully planned and designed to lead its participants through an educational, challenging, exciting and fun adventure that will help them bridge the gap from Camper to Staff and help prepare them for their future, both within and outside of the camping world.

CAMP FACILITIES: Camp Can-Aqua has over 40 buildings on site. A private lake, full service dining hall, a large health and wellness centre, movie theatre, rec hall, Wood Working Studio, Arts and Creative Spaces, and 22 camper cabins.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Divided into cabins by age and gender, our traditional camp programs (2-weeks & 4-weeks) are the signature programs here at Can-Aqua. Each night, campers visit our famous program board to select their activities for the following day. At Can-Aqua we place special emphasis on individualized teaching, which allows each camper to move through programs at their own pace. Our awards system is intricate and ensures that growth and development is recognized and interlaced within the crazy fun.
In addition to activity selections, campers take part in a mix of programs divided by cabin, section, team, gender and the full camp on a daily basis. As the session progresses, campers will have the opportunity to take part in an overnight camping trip with their cabin mates. Towards the end of each session, our Can-Aqua Games become a highlight to the experience. Our mini games take place halfway through each month, followed by a larger games program at the end of July and August.
Campers who stay for 4-weeks not only benefit from additional instruction and program time but also have the opportunity to take part in an advanced Algonquin Outtrip, are eligible for advanced swim instruction (Bronze Med & Cross) and enjoy being part of the popular mid month “changeover program” with the directors.
CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Camp Can-Aqua offers two leadership programs and focuses our structured leadership development on candidates ages 15-17.
Our Leadership programs focus on the development of key social and cooperative skills in young people. Beginning at fifteen years of age, the 4 week programs encourage candidates to take on responsibilities or role modeling as they are challenged to support the campers that look up to them.
Leaders in our community, candidates will work towards achieving certified levels in First Air, CPR and NLS. Both leadership programs involve an extended outtrip as well and provide your young leaders with ample opportunities to continue to learn and grow, while taking on more responsibilities to ensure our camp community remains exceptional.

Specialty Camps at Can-Aqua have been designed to offer kids who have specific passions, a specialized focus while still submerged in summer camp life.
These single week programs ensure a focus on individual activities that campers are keen to take part in. A typical day in any of our specialty camps involved a half-day devoted to the specific program, partnered with a half day of camper selected programs from our programming board. This structure makes sure that all campers enrolled in specialty programs are still actively engaged in the day to day camp programs available.
Specialty programs do vary from year to year but can include wakeboard and waterskiing, mountain biking, photography, amateur film production, and musical theatre.

Since its founding, Camp B'nai Brith of Ottawa has remained committed to ensuring that all Jewish children, no matter what their financial situation might be, have the opportunity to experience the joy and wonder of attending CBB of Ottawa.
Your child's happiness and well-being are our primary considerations at CBB of Ottawa. With that in mind, we provide a safe, nurturing environment where each child can participate, learn and achieve at his/her own pace. We believe that through recreational group activities children learn to work and play cooperatively. Under the supervision and care of our highly qualified staff, our campers not only develop a broad range of personal, athletic, artistic and other skills, but also are encouraged to take on tasks, which will enable them to become more responsible and self-confident.
At CBB of Ottawa our goal is to offer a summer "home away from home" where children can learn about and take pride in their Jewish culture, community and heritage including the unbreakable bond with the State of Israel. It is a place where children can grow both individually and as a group. It is a place where important socializing skills are developed and where lifelong friendships are formed. It is a place where connection to the Jewish community can become part of a child's life forever. CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Realizing that families have different abilities to pay, Pearce Williams Christian Centre offers a voluntary three-tier payment program. You may choose the tier that is most suitable for your family. The Tier System allows us to continue to offer our same low fees for summer camp, while letting everyone know the true cost of camp.
You may choose the tier that is most suitable for your family.
Tier I is our historically subsidized rate and does not reflect the true cost of operating summer camp programs.
Tier II is our partially subsidized fee for those who can pay a little more but still can not afford the actual cost of camp.
Tier III more closely accounts for the true costs of camp including wear and tear of buildings and grounds.
If you cannot afford the cost of Tier I, please ask for a bursary application. Please call 519-764-2317 for assistance with bursary applications. Bursary applications are due by May 15 each year.

Our lake is great for swimming in the summer and skating or curling in the winter. Our waterfront boasts a 25 foot water trampoline with attachments, a 300 foot long water slide as well as 2 sports boats for skiing, wake boarding, tubing and a pontoon boat for cruising.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Founded in 1945 by seven Baptist churches in northern Saskatchewan, The Quest has over 70 years of experience in the camping ministry. We are members of CCI and SCA and conform to all their standards of safety and hiring.
We are a Bible camp whose message is Christian. We believe in the Word of God and want everyone who comes through our gates to draw at least one step closer to Jesus Christ.
We love God and we love people, especially little people - children. We believe that God has given us this place to love children and let them experience God in a pristine wilderness environment.
CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Our Ministry Development Training is a leadership program for teens and young adults between ages 15-25. It is held at the beginning of July and compliments our SERVEstaff program - which is a volunteer and intern program which runs throughout the summer.
MDT (Ministry Development Training) focuses on the participants to KNOW God through times of personal devotion, solitude, and corporate worship times. The heart of this ministry is to see youth grow into fully committed followers of Jesus, full of His love and empowered by His Spirit.
MDT is for high school and university students that are serious about learning more about themselves, their strengths and even weaknesses. It is a camp unlike any other where friendships are forged and tested, and leadership skills are taught and put to the test. So if you want to grow deeper in you understanding of God, the Bible, yourself and even the world around you; and you know that you will be able to do what it takes to be part of the team, then MDT is for you.
Have Questions? Please visit: Our Camp Website Link: www.questnet.ca
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: There are certain scholarships and financial aid available. We are a charity that raises its own finances from supporting churches, individuals and foundations.
FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): July 29 - August 3, 2018
This is a must for families and fills up fast so don’t delay in registering! This is a week where the staff spoils you and your family so that you can just spend time being family with no distractions. Skills and activities are orientated around the entire family. Some evening with be 'parents only', where babysitting is provided and you can relax in the setting of camp.
Our speakers focus on you as a family and how to live in better community with one another. The best part of family camp? No cooking and no dishes!!
Things to do at family camp: swimming, downhill water-slide, 25 foot water trampoline, water skiing, wake-boarding, outdoor education, parents only coffee shop (to die for), wide games, craft making, late night pontoon boat cruises, tubing, night games, hanging out with friends and making new ones, encounter with God time, and not doing dishes.
YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: The Quest is a year round rental facility. From September 1st through to the end of May we host church groups, school groups, band camps, pastors retreats, health regions and youth groups. During the winter we have tons of fun on the outdoor skating rink playing hockey or even curling. We also have ice fishing and snow carving as well as warm fires and even out door hot tubs for the especially brave.
OTHER CAMP INFO: A question that is at the root of our ministry is - Why? Why do we do it? Why do we come back year after year? Why do we believe in camping as a viable ministry in the life of the church and the denomination?
The answer is really simple. We do it to be a place where children are cared for, where they are nourished and loved with the patience and tenderness of Jesus. We are a place that has a passion for the Gospel of Jesus Christ - where the POWER of that gospel is evident, where it is spoken about, where it is seen and cherished. The POWER to lift up the fallen and the hurt. The POWER to heal the sick and the sick in spirit, to heal hearts that have been broken.
The POWER to restore dreams that have been shattered by life, or even death. The POWER to change lives for the better, to transform people into the image of Jesus Christ. The POWER to give hope to those who have no hope. Because we want to be a place where adults and children are taught real Bible based skills for living a life of abundance, where children are taught to obey their parents, to respect their elders and to honor God because this is His order of design. We aim to be a place where young people are shown how to honor God with everything they have.
A place where teenagers are given opportunities to shine. To share their love of God with children and their love of children with God. We are a place where young leaders are given responsibilities, where they are allowed to make mistakes and gently and lovingly shown the right way. We are a place where the Spirit of God is almost tangible, where God’s presence can be felt and seen in the faces of all those who love him.
We are a place where families as a whole can come and be ministered to. Where they can enjoy God’s creation, hear the Word of God and just be cared for. We are a place where the Truth is taught about God with compassion, even when it is uncomfortable or inconvenient. And lastly; The Quest is not simply about FUN, although fun is a bi-product. It is not simply about baby-sitting kids for a week or two in the summer. It is not about learning to ski, or wake board, or learning to shoot an arrow straight. It’s not simply about learning about plants and animals, water safety, canoeing, wall climbing or drama or gaining self confidence or anything else you will find at a great summer camp.
It is all these things and more, it is about drawing everyone who comes through our gates at least one step closer to Jesus Christ.
