As our campers grow with us from year to year, they gain more flexibility, eventually creating their own schedules tailored to their interests, including week long clubs that deliver a specialty camp level of programming. By giving the campers the choice of how to run their summer, we empower them as we engage them. Our program is also designed to instill a set of shared values: Respect, Community, Honesty, and Kindness. Our goal is for every camper to grow into the person they are meant to be, summer after summer, as the camp experience is shared with the world.

Our staff is comprised of experienced and highly skilled professional theatre performers, directors, and designers, as well as certified teachers.* Our curriculum and assessments are linked to the National Core Arts standards. Our program is student-centered, with a "process over product" philosophy that acknowledges each camper's unique talents and experience and supports each camper's growth in a cooperative rather than a competitive environment. Everyone gets a part in the play because the plays are original works that are germinated in collaborative workshops, then scripted by the directors to allow individual performers a chance to grow and shine! *All staff members have undergone successful background checks.
Each session is three weeks long: Session 1= June 20-July 7, 2023 (no camp June 19 or July 4); and Session 2= July 10-July 28, 2023. Participants who complete an hour of online summer learning activities each day will unlock secret animated webisodes that hold the clues to the globe’s whereabouts. Guess the treasure’s location first, and you’ll be the one on a plane to dig it up.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: BullyBats founder Troy O'Neal is a former professional baseball player. He is surrounded by a staff of experienced former college players and experienced high school coaches.
In every activity players will work on leadership skills and communication skills, with a high emphasis on hustle and sportsmanship!
Throughout the week, at Piedmont Little League, players will be working in the morning on each area of baseball.
All players will go through a morning and afternoon stretching and throwing program. The emphasis is on properly taking care of the body through efficient warm-ups and perfect throwing mechanics each day we warm up.
Fielding drills and instruction cover areas such as stance, positioning, footwork, anticipation and reaction, ground-balls and fly balls, backhands, double plays, rundowns, bag coverage, communication, and game situations and more.
Baserunning instruction includes improving quickness and speed with proper running technique, getting out of the box, leadoffs, stealing, reading the pitcher, rounding bases, sliding, and game situations.
Throwing instruction will work to improve on correct throwing technique to maximize the fundamentals and utilize each players maximum potential with their given arm strength.
Hitters will rotate through our popular 4 step process of hitting. Each player will learn stance, stride separation(load), and approach to contact with both the lower half and the hands. Players will work off tee, soft toss, and short toss in various drills emphasizing proper fundamentals in our approach to hitting.
