Parents, you are welcome to attend either the Kids Training Camp or the Future Champions Camp with your son. This is a unique opportunity to learn and bond together in a world class wrestling environment that also stresses fun, fitness, and fundamentals. CAMP FACILITIES: One in-person camp will be held at the Georgetown Public Library in July 2025, located in Sussex County, DE.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Beginner coding skills are taught helping children learn sequencing and terms that grown up coders use everyday to create video games and more. Math and Science activities engage your child in learning and our ARTS program helps students understand how computer artists work in the field.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO:
Adventure Camp is for six to 10-year-olds and offers a little of everything. Campers will create cool crafts, play games, go on field trips, enjoy afternoon pool time and visit the library. It’s a great time to make new friends, try new things and have fun.

Sports Camp helps kids improve skills in a variety of sports. All skill levels are welcome. Kids will have fun and learn good sportsmanship, as well as enjoy afternoon swimming and field trips. For six to 10-year-olds.

There’s also Teen Camp for 11 to 15-year-olds. Swimming, field trips, games and crafts, along with an opportunity to lead the younger camps, are all included.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Adler is the day camp for creative kids. Staffed by accredited faculty, each camper will experience conservatory level art and performance classes.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Camp Adler's Junior Counselor program is a wonderful entry into adulthood for Campers entering 7th through 10th grades. Junior Counselors interview for admission to the program and provide letters of reference. They then assist Counselors and Faculty with the classes, while also participating in Jr. Counselor only projects.

Winter Break Camps
Our winter camps are designed to keep kids entertained while developing problem-solving and interpersonal skills. With obstacle course training, team-building missions, "target practice" hand-eye-coordination activities, and many other fun games, we guarantee a fun winter break. This camp is great for all kids, ages six and up.

Spring Break Camps
Still in town this Spring Break? Send your kids to our Northern Chicago spring break camps for a one-of-a-kind experience filled with obstacle courses, team challenges, fun hand-eye-coordination developing activities, and tons of other great activities. The camp is a break for you, and a blast for them!! Our 2023 Spring Break Camp is registered in by the half or full day, and is great for kids ages 6-14.

Leadership Summer Camp
Our 2023 summer camp is enrolled in by the week, and is great for 6-13+ year olds. Older kids get an opportunity (if desired) to develop their leadership skills, and the younger ones have a blast participating. Our Leadership Summer Camp, being a premiere Day Camp near Chicago, is different from other camps we offer during the year because it is a whole week experience, each day evolving from the last. Located in Arlington Heights and Libertyville, close to Palatine and Vernon Hills, these obstacle-course-based camps.

No School Day Camps
No School? No Problem! We offer full and half day camp options for most national holidays and some localized school closures. Have your child attend our No School Day Camp the next time their school is closed and you want to relax (or need to work ).

CAMP FACILITIES: We partner with area churches, utilizing their full indoor spaces for learning and other activities, and frequently enjoying the weather for themed activities outside.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our camp staff team consists of 100+ dedicated leaders who’ve worked in theater education or youth ministry. Staff members include Counselors age 18+, and adult Camp Coordinators who oversee each camp location. Our counselors have trained experience in dance, voice, and drama instruction. They enjoy working with campers to help them gain confidence, grow as performers, and most importantly have FUN!

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: CYT Chicago offers high quality performing arts classes in 16 different locations across Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. With emphasis in drama, dance, musical theater, and vocal studies, any child ages 6-18 is sure to find a class that will pique their interest. Our classes are each 10 weeks long culminating with a showcase performance during the final week.

CYT Chicago also offers over 30 professional quality musical theater productions each year. Each production stars an auditioned cast of up to 120 talented students who are currently enrolled in one of our performing arts classes. With several public and school day shows, a CYT production is the perfect outing for anyone looking for a great theater experience!

SHORTENED DAY PROGRAM for children ages 3 – 5
provides a fun-filled day led by adult counselors and includes bus transportation, daily swimming instruction, lunch, and numerous sports and activities all appropriate to the age, attention span, and energy level of three through five-year-olds.

FULL DAY PROGRAM for children ages 4 – 13
Campers swim twice a day, and exceptional Red Cross instruction is provided by trained staff in our spacious, heated pool. The fun continues on land with tennis, team sports, trampball, climbing wall, crafts, dance, archery, drama, fishing, gymnastics, martial arts, mountain biking, photography, circus arts, theme days, field trips and much more!

CAMP FACILITIES: George School is oaks and hemlocks, dogwoods and redbuds. It’s cleome blossoms in the bushes and clover in the grass. It’s running paths through the woods and Frisbee on the lawns. It’s red brick buildings, old wooden desks, wireless internet.

George School is the solar-powered Alternative Energy Center. It’s a Philadelphia meetinghouse from 1812 conserved and moved to our campus. It’s future-minded sustainability and a Zen-ish bear hug of the present. It’s hundreds of research databases and ebooks at the library, 600 seats at the arts center, and one-on-one meetings with a teacher.

They are both Harvard-educated and their 5 children were the inspiration behind the creation of this revolutionary new summer program

Brain Chase is a 6-week summer learning challenge disguised as a massive global treasure hunt for 2nd−8th graders. A golden globe has been buried somewhere on earth – and it contains the key to a safe deposit box holding a $10,000 college scholarship fund. CAMP FACILITIES: The indoor space is air conditioned and equipped with new filtered water bottle filling stations, restrooms, and is home to many of our activities including but not limited to: Stop motion animation, art lab, sewing (hand and machine), our relax area (think beanbag chairs, spa music, some essential oils in a diffuser from time to time books, chess, checks, etc), pool, table hockey, giant connect four, ping-pong and more! We also have access to the auditorium, cafeteria and 8 indoor classrooms.

The outdoor space includes a playground, full-size turf soccer field, lots of blacktop space for hopscotch, foursquare, chalk city and more! The entire outdoor space surrounded by an iron fence, which is locked during camp.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our fee is inclusive and covers morning and afternoon snacks, lunch and all of our offered activities, automatically. There are no extra registration steps for certain programs, no before or aftercare needed. We never leave campus so caregivers can drop off and pick up their campers whenever it is best for them within our hours of operation. We offer registration for the whole summer (best value), weekly blocks or by the day. Need just an afternoon? Snag a spot in our half-day pilot program from Noon - 6p.

The campers choose from the open activities (different activities are open at different times of day) and spend their time doing what interests them the most. All of our activities are designed to be intuitive, meaning even the youngest of campers can walk right up to the activity and get started. How? Meticulous preparation and plan ahead so that it all comes off as simple and easy to engage in.

We have visual guides for campers to reference and staff always nearby if a camper should want a little help or a high-five to celebrate some cool new thing that they just tried for the first time! From stop motion animation to hand sewing to water play on the turf field - we've got a great summer planned for your campers! Registration is open!

All of our staff will be up to date on their covid vaccinations, CPR/First Aid/AED certified, background checked and federal and state levels. We also have staff with food manager certification.

CAMP FACILITIES: JCYS Camp Henry Horner accommodations range from small lodges with kitchen facilities to large dorm-style housing that can accommodate over 100 people at a time. Located on Lake Wooster, our boathouse is full of canoes and kayaks for your water adventures while the lake is home to multiple large inflatables for swimming fun.

Camp is also home to the High Sierra Adventure Center that has a high and low ropes course, zipline and climbing wall, through traditional rock climbing is also available for the more adventurous camper! CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Good Times offers a special program to certain campers over the age of 12. This program helps transition eager teen campers into responsible working adults. Gophers are assistants to their assigned counselors and in no way have responsibility over any camper. A few veteran Gophers will show extraordinary qualities and will be allowed to become camp interns. Many of Good Times best counselors were at one time campers themselves. How does a camper become a Gopher? The Gopher program is by invitation only. If selected, you will receive an invitation early in January from Director Peggy. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: We only accept serious players with previous competitive soccer experience. Every year talented players attend our camps and challenge each other to the limit, growing in skill and experience. A number of our campers have experienced training trials with professional clubs in Holland. Our programs are designed to help players achieve their maximum potential through progressive exercises that are individually challenging, as well as appropriate to the age and ability of each player.

We fly in our coaches directly from the Netherlands. They are not merely coaches: they are also teachers. Many of our coaches have graduated from a four- year CIOS College. At the Central Institution of Sports, coaches not only received their coaching licenses from the global leader in soccer development: KNVB (Royal Dutch Soccer Federation) but also learn how to work with, encourage and incentivize young athletes. Every camp group will have the same Dutch coach for the entire week. It's one week of camp packed into 4 days. With skits, big games, campfires, songs, and more, your camper is sure to have a great time.

SPECIALTY camps are the camps that have a certain niche to them They include; MEGA camp, TEEN camp, and LITERARY camp. MEGA camp is more than twice the fun! This 14 day camp gives campers the chance to try more activities, participate in the special middle-weekend stay-over, and get to know their counselors and fellow MEGA-campers much better If you are ages 8-14, register early for this one. It will fill quickly. TEEN camp is the one that no camper ages 12-17 wants to miss.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Simply put, an SDP (staff development participant) is a student entering the 9th-12th grade in the fall of 2014. While often this age group is overlooked and underutilized, this is not true at YMCA Camp Benson. SDPs attend Camp Benson for a week at a time serving and learning, growing and expanding, in both leadership and character. There are 4-levels of the Staff Development Program and placement is based on their grade in school, their attendance at weekend retreats, and an application process.

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Every child deserves a camp experience. Just one summer at camp can positively influence a child’s life forever. Our confidential Financial Assistance Program allows numerous children, who would otherwise not be able to attend, to experience all that YMCA Camp Benson has to offer.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Ondessonk a residential youth camp provides summer camp programs for children ages 8-18 years old. We are proud to be accredited by the American Camp Association. This accreditation means that Camp Ondessonk thoroughly reviews operational practices, seeks the wisdom of other summer camp professionals, and continually makes improvements within our summer camp program to comply with more than 300 written standards. Only one-fourth of the summer camps in the United States have earned this mark of distinction. In addition, Camp Ondessonk’s Equestrian Program is accredited by the Certified Horsemanship Association.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: The CIT program is a two week leadership development session designed to prepare participants for possible future counselor positions. Applicants to the CIT program must be 15 years old by May 30, 2017.

CAMP FACILITIES: Campers train on a brand new astroplay surface; the only surface approved by FIFA (world soccer governing body), and learn how to take their game to the next level.

Coach Dave Di Tomasso and his staff have perfected the Nike Soccer Specialty Camp at Elmhurst College by creating an all emcompassing camp experience. In three camp sessions, campers are will be able to hone their skills with specialized instruction and guidance.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Why choose Snow Goal Scoring Camp?
Snow Goal Scoring Camps grants hard-working players the opportunity to learn proper shooting technique. Coach Jake was mentored by college soccers greatest all time scorer his uncle, the late Ken Snow. Coach Jake and his team break down every meaningful aspect of his nearly perfect shooting mechanics so players learn exactly how he is able to achieve an accurate high velocity shot.

Coach Jake offers unique solutions to players having difficulties achieving proper shooting form and provides ways for even the best shooters to improve. Coach Jake's encouraging and patient style of instruction helps players maximize their potential and develop more passion for soccer. With enough practice and instruction, shooting and scoring goals will become 2nd nature.

There is no better camp to improve ball striking, shooting and scoring goals. Technique and hard work can take your child to the next level.

Being able to score when the opportunity presents itself can be the difference between:

Camps will cover:
-Ensuring proper technique of Right & Left foot shot
-Volleys (Side, Thigh, Chest)
-1st Time & 2 touch shots from distance
-Receiving with back to goal, turning & Finishing
-1v1 technique’s to goal
-Curving - Inside and Outside of the foot
-Breakaways, 1v1 with keeper
-Small-Sided Games

Camp Format:
4-6 players per goal with 20-25 balls for each group. Players shoot 20-25 shots for each exercise. We repeat each exercise for both feet. Practicing that shot over and over creates muscle memory so finishing the soccer ball becomes 2nd nature to players. We choose 5-6 different Shooting & Scoring scenarios and situations each day, so each player takes 10-12 (both Feet) shooting sets of 20 shots each. Hardworking players should expect to take around 200 shots per day.

Players Don't Get Enough Shooting in Practice:
Shooting practice is most often neglected because coaches are forced to spend the majority of team training sessions working on ball control, possession, and passing. If coaches spent the amount of time required to get good at shooting their teams would be unable to possess the ball well enough to produce good scoring opportunities so SHOOTING PRACTICE IS WHAT GETS LEFT OUT!

Who is this camp for?
-Any soccer player regardless of skill, level, or position that wants to get better at Shooting the soccer ball. Players at every position need to be able to shoot the soccer ball.
-From the young player who hasn’t been taught the proper way to shoot up to the high-level player with college aspirations who wants to increase their Goal Scoring output.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: As fun as camping, canoeing and crafts combined, Zeno Math Camps keep the math momentum rolling all year long. How? Campers are guided through an adventure of math games, activities and experiments that reveal the fun of math! Zeno’s one-week, all inclusive, half day camps are designed to increase math competency in fun and exciting ways.

Adventures in Arrgh-rithmetic: Campers work on pirate-themed activities focused on measurement, geometry, time, navigation, technology, number sense, and problem solving. K-2nd grades

Art & Architecture: Campers create their own buildings and other objects while learning how geometry affects art, architecture, and city design. 3-5th grades
