CAMP FACILITIES: CEDO's field station is located in the Las Conchas housing development, the “Jewel of Sonora”. CEDO’s campus sits atop one of the highest dunes east of the town center of Rocky Point, and is outlined by an elegant sinuous wall and entry gate. The main edifice is constructed in the Spanish architectural style with an open patio courtyard and a wrap around balcony overlooking the Sea of Cortez. There is a boys' room and a girls' room on the balcony level, where the children sleep in their own sleeping bag on sleeping pads provided by CEDO. The facilities have ample bathrooms, a large kitchen and a laboratory.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Summer has an adventure in store for you: an adventure in marine biology! CEDO’s Wet Feet Ocean Camp is an overnight summer camp for youth ages 9-12. For five days and four nights children will explore the Upper Gulf of California intertidal zone and surrounding Sonoran Desert. Accommodations will be provided at the CEDO field station in Puerto Peñasco, Sonora, Mexico. The cost is $515, with an optional (additional) $100 island cruise to Isla San Jorge. We ask you to make a $100 reservation deposit as soon as possible for each child attending the camp.

Campers will explore the marine biology of the Upper Gulf of California through both field study and hands-on activities. Uncovering brittle stars, nudibranchs, and octopi in the intertidal zone; dancing for shrimp in the estuary; discovering the secrets of different marine organisms that live in this biologically rich area — these are only a few of the activities in which the campers will participate.

Counselors with experience in marine biology and desert ecology, and trained in First Aid and CPR, will staff the camp. All food and beverages (including purified water) will be provided for campers on site. Campers will have the opportunity to visit downtown Rocky Point (Puerto Peñasco) and should bring some spending money, but will spend the majority of their time in the field, or at CEDO.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): Family members may join the island cruise for an additional cost per person. On the last day of camp, family members are invited to see the campers' presentations, followed by lunch (at an additional nominal cost per family member).

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: A casual visitor to CEDO may enjoy a self-guided tour of our botanical garden, take a close up look at our 55 foot fin whale skeleton, browse the books and treasures in our gift shop and more.

CEDO also offers unique opportunities to explore the sea and desert through our NaturArte ecotours. Go for a hike in North America’s largest "sea of sand", kayak the tidal channels of Morua Estuary, or explore the diverse marine life found in the tidepools of the Northern Gulf of California.

CEDO’s NaturArte program is an award winning conservation project designed to strengthen ties between tourists, local communities and ecosystems, while raising intercultural and environmental awareness. A portion (10%) of the proceeds goes directly to CEDO’s Estero Conservation Fund. The rest supports CEDO’s other conservation projects.

CEDO’s Wet Feet Ocean Camp is a summer camp for youth both from the US and Mexico, is an intercultural camp. The age range this year is younger than past years and is for kids 9 to 12 years old – for exceptions please contact Paloma[AT]cedo.org.

What will my child be doing at Wet Feet Ocean Camp?

Some common activities include: Wading, swimming, snorkeling, boating, hiking, digging on the beach, cooking, singing, playing, meeting new people, interacting with Spanish speakers, learning new facts, thinking about the future, creating, eating, running, learning something new, and much more!

Don’t worry, English-only speakers will be comfortable interacting in this intercultural camp, our bilingual counselors will facilitate the process.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Coach Charli Turner Thorne is the winningest coach in Sun Devil women's basketball history and No. 2 in the Pac-12 in most career wins (400), Charli Turner Thorne is at the helm of an Arizona State program that has made it to the postseason 17 of the last 18 years, including a school record five consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances (2005-09), two Elite Eight appearances and a pair of Sweet 16 finishes. ASU's 12 NCAA Tournament appearances under Turner Thorne are nine more than what ASU had in the 15 years prior to her arrival in Tempe. Has also earned a pair of gold medals with USA Basketball.

CAMP FACILITIES: An amazing campus with beautiful fields, air-conditioned gyms, classrooms, and a cafeteria! We love the access to all the awesome indoor facilities. In the afternoon camp walks to the the City of Phoenix Sunnyslope pool for swimming.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO:
Hubbard Sports Camp, established in 1998, is a co-ed multi-sport summer camp offering one week sessions to campers 4 1/2 to 13 years old. Hubbard offers sports and games to meet the interests and skill levels of our campers in a safe, nurturing, structured environment. Campers enjoy soccer, basketball, volleyball, baseball, archery, swimming and many other indoor and outdoor games and activities. Campers build character, self-esteem, and confidence through daily activities geared towards learning and fun in a caring environment. Founded in 1947, the Phoenix Boys Choir offers programs featuring training in voice, music theory, and performance for boys age 7 to 14. Members of the Phoenix Boys Choir receive a world-class music education and one of the most significant experiences of their lives.

The Artistic Staff at the Phoenix Boys Choir includes music educators who are not only certified and highly qualified music education instructors, with a specific focus on choral music, they are also artists themselves and engender a love of the arts to our students.

The Choir has performed with the Phoenix Symphony, Arizona Opera, Phoenix Chorale, Orpheus Male Chorus of Phoenix, collaborated with Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Musical Instrument Museum, Phoenix Youth Symphony and the Desert Botanical Garden. Additionally, the Phoenix Boys Choir was invited to perform at the inauguration of Governor Doug Ducey, and also sang at the memorial service for former Governor Raul Castro. The Choir has performed the National Anthem for the Phoenix Suns, Arizona Diamondbacks, Phoenix Coyotes, 2021 NASCAR Race, Arizona Rattlers and the Arizona Cardinals. The Choir is a Phoenix point of pride.

Beginning with the Cadet Choir, boys can progress to Town and Tour choirs, and upon graduation, participate in the Young Men's Ensemble and then the Masters Choir. When the boys reach the performance levels of Town and Tour Choir, they have the opportunity to travel nationally and internationally.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Coach Cummins and Coach Orona bring a combined 41 years of coaching to Arizona Sports Camp. This includes the four years that Coach Cummins spent with the 2004 Championship San Antonio Spurs. Their leadership and experience ensures each camper has a strong foundation on which to improve their all around game.

The management of iSG Camps has been operating youth sports camps for over 19 years with a high rate of customer satisfaction. YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Arizona Science Center’s CAMP INNOVATION will inspire and engage curious minds about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) learning all year long. Camps vary throughout the year from biology, robotics to coding, there is a camp for ages 3-14.

CAMP FACILITIES: Our North Scottsdale climate-controlled facility offers a comfortable space for our campers to learn, explore, experience, create, and grow during the hot Arizona summer months. Our unique indoor gym space houses our sports and fitness program.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Your child's summer can be a time for fun, building confidence, achievement, creativity and discovery at JGS Summer Learning Adventures! Our weekly half and full day sessions are worthy of a fun, enriching summer break. With hands-on projects, and engaging activities, campers explore various areas of interest and discover new things.

At our summer camp, campers choose their own Summer Learning Adventures! Each weekly session allows campers to pick from two morning block (9am-12pm) choices and two afternoon block (1pm-4pm) choices. Morning choices include Core Academics or Sports & STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). Afternoon choices include Sports & STEM or the session's Thematic Unit. First through fourth grade Thematic Units include Grossology, Rebels & Redcoats, Dramatic Arts, Secret Soy School, Around the World in Four Days, Castles & Catapults, and Trash to Treasures. Fifth though eight grade Thematic Units include Incredible Architecture, CSI Science, Stop-Motion Animation, Media Madness and Around the World in Four Days.

CAMP FACILITIES: Our Scottsdale Gym is a great indoor space to get away from the Phoenix heat. Complete with a basketball hoop, volleyball net, soccer and hockey goals, kids will be running and playing non-stop while learning fundamental sport skills to create life lasting independent success as they continue sports.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Encouraging healthy active living. By applying our methodology… Sportball helps children to develop socially as well as physically, through a curriculum designed to reinforce self confidence free from the pressure of competition. In our programs, children from 16 months to 12 years of age, are provided with a skills driven, high energy and fun filled curriculum.

Sportball Multi-Sport programs introduce children to the fundamental concepts and skills behind eight popular ball sports: baseball, football, basketball, volleyball, hockey, soccer, tennis and golf. Using creative instruction and positive encouragement, our programs focus on the development of gross motor skills, along with balance, strength, coordination, stamina and timing. The equipment that we use is age appropriate and sized just right for the children in our programs.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): Sportball Kids Multi-Sport Sportball Junior – ages 16 – 24 month Parent & Child – ages 2 & up Me & My Dad – ages 2 & up Parents and caregivers participate in our weekly class to help influence your pre-schooler’s social and physical development through an introduction to our multi-sport program. Coaches focus on gross motor development with games and skills introduced in a fun, creative and nurturing environment. CAMP FACILITIES: In 2008, Childsplay officially opened the Sybil B. Harrington Campus for Imagination and Wonder, a 33,000 square foot support facility. The former Mitchell School facility provides more than 7,000 sq. ft. of administrative offices, 5,500 sq. ft. of classrooms for the Childsplay Academy, 7,000 sq. ft. of production space for prop and costume construction and storage, 7,000 sq ft for rehearsal halls and support space, and approximately 6,000 sq. ft. of storage.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: At Childsplay Theatre Academy, kids work with top local actors, directors, choreographers, music directors and professional teaching artists. All class instructors have an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card and are background checked.

All Childsplay classes work on acting techniques and are a great way to gain skills while developing confidence, making friends and, most importantly, having fun!

CAMP FACILITIES: We have two bunkhouses and one lodge housing 120 people in 16 rooms, all with heating/ac and bathrooms. There is a main chapel, indoor swimming pool, two dining halls, a small meeting hall/staff lounge and 6 full RV sites.

Sports at camp include softball, basketball, field games, archery & rifle ranges, limited mountain biking and rock climbing, an obstacle course and a 425 ft. long zip line.

We also have a craft shop, an old museum, an outdoor amphitheater with a large stage, fire pit and outdoor lighting, a large game room with snack corner and a Christian bookstore selling camp apparel and reading material.

Our Indian Oaks tipi village is currently under reconstruction and will be opening in 2015.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our summer camp programs are open to children from grades 1 - 12 and are grouped accordingly. Summer camp is Christian based with exciting speakers, fun weekly themes and live Christian bands for the junior and senior high weeks of camp. There are plenty of activities throughout the day and evening to keep the kids moving and having fun with others.

Throughout the remainder of the year, the camp is open to various rental groups from the surrounding communities that use the camp for a variety of activities. Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and others use the camp for activities, earning badges and doing service work.

Churches bring out youth, men and women for weekend retreats while a number of charter, private and public schools use the camp for science programs and overnight stays while exploring the rich history of southern Arizona.

We are host to several family reunions each year and also are privileged to host and cook for special dinners and receptions held at the camp.

Each winter the camp hosts up to 4 RV couples from the SOWER's program that brings volunteer workers to the camp to help with remodeling, repairs and new construction at the camp.

OTHER CAMP INFO: Huachuca Oaks is conveniently located just 40 minutes southeast of I-10, within 30 minutes drive of such great historic towns as Tombstone, Bisbee and an hour from Douglas. This area is well know for such characters as Doc Holliday, Wyatt Earp, Geronimo & Cochise, the outlaw Pancho Villa along with copper, silver and gold mines.

Other areas of interest include the Ramsey Canyon hummingbird sanctuary, Kartchner Caverns, Coronado National Memorial, the Slaughter Ranch, the Dragoon Mtns. and Chiricahua National Monument.

We are always open to interested volunteers who have skills in construction and maintenance, housekeeping, cooking, office work and landscaping.

The camp is owned by the Southwest Church Connection, a non-profit 501(c)3 and the camp is also a stand-alone non-profit 501(c)3 organization. We are in partnership with Prescott Pines Christian Camp located in Prescott, AZ.

CAMP FACILITIES: There is something here for every child in the family! We have a great 32,000 square foot facility with state-of-the art gymnastics equipment, a heated indoor swimming pool, dance and martial arts rooms, and a preschool gym.

Join us for games, crafts, gymnastics and swimming (full day campers only) in our indoor, air-conditioned facility! CAMP FACILITIES: One in-person camp will be held at the Georgetown Public Library in July 2025, located in Sussex County, DE.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Beginner coding skills are taught helping children learn sequencing and terms that grown up coders use everyday to create video games and more. Math and Science activities engage your child in learning and our ARTS program helps students understand how computer artists work in the field.

CAMP FACILITIES: Paradise Valley Christian is a beautiful facility with an awesome gym, field space and shaded lunch area. We transport campers by bus to Melrose Paradise Valley Recreation Club for swimming lessons and free swim.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Hubbard Sports Camp, established in 1998, is a co-ed multi-sport summer camp offering one week sessions to campers 4 1/2 to 13 years old. Hubbard offers sports and games to meet the interests and skill levels of our campers in a safe, nurturing, structured environment. Campers enjoy soccer, basketball, volleyball, baseball, archery, swimming and many other indoor and outdoor games and activities. CAMP FACILITIES: Get the feel for farm life with the convenience of the being in town. We have a small barn, pastures and petting zoo area for kids to enjoy.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Kids will enjoy learning about horses, ponies and other farm animals including rabbits, chickens, pigs and goats. They will learn basic horsemanship, feeding, and care for the animals. Each day will include pony time, learning activities, crafts and water play to keep us cool in the afternoon.

All facilities air-conditioned and it boasts an indoor 9-lane collegiate size pool, Aquatic Center, 4000 Sq.ft. air-conditioned Fitness Center with state of the art wellness equipment, fabulous new dormitories, quad style with one or two campers sharing a bathroom. Minutes from Georgia state parks, river activities, and Lake Hartwell. It's a wonderful place to experience summer fun while learning about nutrition, healthy cooking and fitness.

TEXAS: Camp Shane Texas is set on a lovely 83-acre, beautifully landscaped and wooded campus with attractive and well kept facilities in gorgeous Texas Hill Country setting. Dormitories are modern with custom furniture, granite bathroom counter tops and polished concrete floors. All sport facilities, dorms and classrooms are air conditioned. There is an outdoor classroom, garden, orchard, chicken coop, and miles of nature trails as well as a state-of-the-art weight room, fitness center, multi-purpose room, two gymnasiums and a new indoor swimming pool. Wholesome and nutritious Shane approved healthy menu prepared on-site. We are not a fat camp nor are we a boot camp. We combine all the fun of traditional summer camp with the benefits of weight loss.

WISCONSIN: Camp Shane Wisconsin is set on 80 acres, located off the shore of Lake Michigan. Dorms are newly constructed, modern and fully air-conditioned. There is an extensive, state of the art, multi-million-dollar fitness center and large grass playing fields to run fun fitness activities outdoors. The property also boasts an Olympic size indoor swimming pool – great for water exercise. Each weekday morning, Maker will post a new project or activity on their Google+ page—30 things to make over six weeks. Each weekday afternoon at 2 PM, tune in to a live Google+ Hangout On Air to meet expert makers who create amazing things.

CAMP FACILITIES: The camp facilities include 20 modern cabins, 2 dormitory style buildings, fire-pits, flushing toilets, dining hall, covered program ramadas and several miles of scenic hiking trails.

Program facilities include: archery range, low and high challenge course, outdoor stage and seating for up to 200, ceramics studio, dance studio, fiber arts library, nature education resources, outdoor cooking learning lab and coming soon...videography lab.

Camp counselors are housed in nearby cabins within each unit.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Directors recruit and screen mature, qualified staff who have a desire to share their enthusiasm for camping, the outdoors, and arts. We also hire staff from other countries to give your camper the chance to broaden her understanding of other cultures. All camp staff participate in an intensive pre-camp training which includes program, first aid, CPR, camping, human relations skills and drug-testing.
Specially qualified staffers direct the archery, challenge course, ceramics, drama, dance and trip programs.

Most of the camp staff are college students studying education, sociology and outdoor recreation – among many others. All staff must be 18 or older.

All camp staff participates in an intensive pre-camp training this includes:

If you have completed CIT 1 then you may be ready for CIT 2. Depending on your interests and strengths, you will choose a specific area to focus, and further your leadership, teamwork, and teaching skills within that area. Learn how to develop and deliver program and complete a service project.
Prerequisite: CIT 1 and entering 10th-12th grade

GSACPC makes every effort to provide financial assistance so that no girl misses out on the opportunity to attend camp due to lack of funds. Financial assistance ranges from a portion of the fee to the total camp fee, minus the deposit, for those demonstrating need.
