BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Ponacka is a small, family owned boys camp with an emphasis on skill development, providing boys with an unforgettable summer. Ponacka is "home away from home" for countless boys who return each summer to the shores of Lake Baptiste. The third generation is now helping to run Ponacka!

CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Theater, Music/Band, Fine Arts/Crafts, Basketball, Soccer, Horses/Equestrian, Swimming, Waterfront/Aquatics, Sailing, Volleyball, Team Sports, Adventure, Wilderness/Nature, and more. Archery, Bushcraft, Climbing Wall, Aerial Ropes Course, Fitness, Road Hockey, Pottery, Wood Working, Lapidary, Canoe Tripping, Windsurfing, Kayaking, Biking, & Nature.

CAMP LOCATION: We are located just south of Algonquin Park, in Ontario, Canada -- 3 hour drive north of Toronto.

CAMP FACILITIES: The youngest boys sleep in cabins, the older boys sleep under canvas in bunk beds on raised wooden platforms, we have a quiet beautiful lake for our water activities, amazing meals and lots of fun evening programs as well as the five daily activity periods.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Leadership program for 16 year olds who have attended as campers.

CAMP SESSION DATES & FEES:
Boys age 7-10 have the option of attending camp for either 2 or 4 weeks. Once they turn 11, they attend the four week session in either July or August. The fees are $4250 CDN dollars for a four week session, and $2300 for two weeks. The camp runs June 28th - July 25th, and July 30- August 26th.
