BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Guitar Workshop Plus is much more than just a guitar camp or summer music camp. We offer week long workshops in a musical environment at superb facilities. Our faculty members are professional musicians and instructors with extensive experience teaching in summer music programs, workshops, private settings, and post secondary institutions. Along with receiving visits from world famous guest artists, our top ranked summer music program allows students to participate in daily classes, clinics, ensemble and student performances, and evening concerts.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Music/Band, Academics, and more. Ensemble Coaching, Rhythm Section Classes, Performance Clinics, Songwriting Courses, Student, Faculty & Guest Artist Concerts.
CAMP LOCATION: We have four campus locations:
Toronto, ON Campus: Our program is held at Sheridan College in Oakville , Ontario, located 20 minutes west of Toronto. This scenic campus overlooks the shores of Lake Ontario and boasts modern facilities including large classrooms, spacious residences, a stage and auditorium, practice rooms, a large dining hall, as well as recreational facilities and athletic fields.
San Diego, CA Campus: Our program is held on the beautiful campus of California State University San Marcos, CA. Conveniently located in North San Diego County and just a short drive from Los Angeles and Orange County, this location offers modern facilities and accommodations including spacious classrooms, an outstanding performance theatre, and apartment style accommodations complete with living room and kitchen. The vibrant music scenes and cities of both San Diego and Los Angeles combined with the beautiful southern California sunshine and beaches make this the perfect spot to spend a week with us.
Nashville, TN Campus: Middle Tennessee State University is located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee just outside of Nashville, TN – Music City USA! In addition to the great location, this campus features great housing and dining facilities and has fantastic music facilities including a beautiful auditorium and stage, large music classes, and practice wenger units. Near-by attractions include historical buildings and museums, several annual festivals, and the Center for the Arts. Famous Nashville attractions include Music Row which is filled with legendary honky tonks, bars, and music venues, The Country Music Hall of Fame, and the Grand Ole Opry.
Seattle, WA Campus: Our program is held on the beautiful campus of Seattle University, located in Seattle’s bustling, quirky, and entertaining Capitol Hill neighborhood. The campus and university residence feature beautiful scenery, including views of Mount Rainier and the Seattle skyline and waterfront. This location offers great facilities and accommodations including modern classrooms, a great auditorium, and the top-ranked university food service in the state of Washington. This location is conveniently located in the world-class city of Seattle, which boasts a healthy music scene and plenty of attractions including the Experience Music Project Museum, Pike Place Market, Space Needle, and top notch shopping and dining.
CAMP FACILITIES: Semi-Private and Private dorm rooms with semi-private bathrooms and full classroom facilities and grounds.

World famous guest artists such as Joe Satriani, Alex Lifeson (Rush), John Scofield, John Petrucci (Dream Theater), Robben Ford, Billy Sheehan, and many more teach and perform for our participants. Our top ranked summer music program allows students to participate in daily classes, clinics, ensemble and student performances, and evening concerts. Participants also take away a video of their live performances!!
