CAMPER AGES: 5th-8th grade
TYPE OF CAMP: Day Camp. 9:30am-3:00pm

BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: This camp will provide young writers with exciting, active, and cooperative experiences that will enhance and improve their writing skills while sparking their creativity.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Academics, and more. Writing, Reading, Speaking
CAMP LOCATION: We are located on Miami University's campus which provides a fun environment for the campers. We try to spend equal time outside and inside as well as we visit the student center and Recreational Center.
CAMP FACILITIES: We meet in classrooms but have lots of fun activities outside as well as swimming at the Rec Center.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The week-long camp is facilitated by Ohio Writing Project trained classroom teachers and local authors. The camp has been in existence for 9 years and has brought students from all over the Cincinnati and Dayton area (as well as a few students from other states).
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Financial aid available.
