CAMP LOCATION: We are located directly off route #195 exit 7 in Fall River MA
CAMP FACILITIES: The academy offers a 6,000 sq. facility including two large air conditioned studios with marley floors, full length mirrors and 14 foot ceilings. There are also boys and girls dressing rooms with lockers and a waiting room.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO:
Young Dancers Workshop
Full day program introducing the young dancer to a broader view of the world of dance. Ballet, Jazz, Modern, History, Theory, Stage Makeup, Body Conditioning, Improvisation and Choreography. Performance August 15th.
Techie Intern Program
August 4th-15th
Ages 12 years and up
Learn the "behind the scenes" magic that makes the performance run smoothly. Work with lighting, sound, props and scenery.
Coaching Intensive
August 11th -15th
Monday-Friday, 9:00a-4:00p
Ages 14 years and up
Individualized coaching in Ballet, Pointe, Variations, Body Condition and Injury Prevention.
Class Size Limited.
Our Philosophy
The Dance Academy, established in 1987, philosophy is to provide the highest quality of professional instruction in conjunction with creating a nurturing and positive atmosphere that will teach students how to simply enjoy dance and understand movement. Our goal is to not only create beautiful, skilled dancers, but for all our students to grow into adults with a strong sense of responsibility, independence and success in every aspect of life.
Faculty
Academy students have the unique opportunity to study with professional artists from national and international companies and institutions in all classes and levels. All instructors have a comprehensive knowledge of tradional techniques as well as a shared understanding of the latest, most effective methods of training. As accomplished, experienced artists themselves, they bring a caring and and up-to-date perspective to the classroom experience.

Our outstanding children's program is designed to foster a love of movement. Our main division offers classes for children and adults who enjoy dance as a fun extracurriclar activity. And finally, our well known programs for the career minded student makes the Academy not only the place to start your dance training, but the place to stay and realize your goals.
