The Windhover Center for the Performing Arts partners with Dušan Týnek Dance Theatre in July to offer a week-long intensive dance workshop. Sallee Slagle, director of the sumer program, was also a dancer with the Windhover Dance Company for many years, and a graduate of Boston Conservatory where she first met Ina Hahn, executive director.
Windhover was founded by Ina Hahn, who was a member of Doris Humphrey's and Charles Weidman's Dance Companies. Ms. Slagle is the Artistic Director of her own modern dance company, Forty Steps Dance and teaches ballet and modern at colleges and her own dance and fitness studio, Dance Dimensions in Nahant, MA.
