BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: A brand new partnerhip with the Penn Tennis Camps joining with the Wilson Collegiate Tennis Camp promises to allow for our most succsssful camp year to date.
By joining forces with Wilson, the camps will add many new features, such as the latest Wilson equipment, camp demos, new “camp live” integration, prizes and more will bring more value to each young player this summer.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Tennis, and more.
CAMP LOCATION: TRADITIONAL TENNIS CAMP – Ages 6-17
This is the traditional Penn tennis camp. Great drills and clinics in the morning, healthy group lunches, and fun games and more tennis and other sports in the afternoon!
In 2015, we are excited to incorporate squash into each week of camp.
All campers receive a Wilson Collegiate Tennis Camp T-shirt and water bottle, Every week will also feature a new Camp Raffle to compete for a chance to win wonderful Wilson prizes such as t-shirts, grips, hats, water bottles, radkets, bags, string, vibration dampeners and more.
HALF DAY TENNIS CAMP – Ages 3-5
A new addition in 2014, the Penn Tennis Center partnered with the Tiny Tennis Center to offer young children the opportunity to expereince 3 hours a day of tennis fun in an active indoor facility. The Tiny Tennis Camps will run all 9 weeks from 9:00 am. – 12:00 pm daily. All activities are age appropriate and are structured to 30 minute intervals which help young children stay engaged in the activitess and enjoy the full 3 hour camp.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Each camper will receive instruction on the fundamentals of all major strokes and will enhance their skills through repetition, ball-feeding drills, live-ball situations and competitive match play. In addition, campers will be exposed to team competition and match play in singles and doubles. These camps are excellent preparation for anyone interested in participating in middle school, high school or USTA team tennis, or preparing to compete in USTA leagues and/or tournaments.
