BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Ultra small group for more one on one time with your child.
Activities include:
Daily Morning Yoga Stretch
Horse Handling & grooming
Daily Riding Lessons
Horse – related games & activities
Our new indoor facility makes it possible to have a fun day rain or shine!
We also have an excellent trail system for our grand finale excursions at the end of the week!
SPECIAL NEEDS CAMPERS: Special needs campers are welcome to join the group - personal assistants and para-educators are welcome to assist children who require assistance at school. Private and therapeutic lessons are available also. Please call for information.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Horses/Equestrian, Team Sports, and more. Yoga & Meditation Exercises Are Incorporated Into Our Daily Routine.
CAMP LOCATION: LOCATION 5325 ELLIS ROAD CROWLEY, LA 70526
CAMP FACILITIES: We have an outdoor riding area, large barn and indoor riding area for rainy days, plus an extensive trail system for more confident riders.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Cathy Reynolds is the author of Whoa-Ga! Eight Limbed Yoga for Horse/Rider Harmony. She is also a professional horse trainer and riding instructor, and has trained horses in several disciplines including dressage, jumping, pleasure and barrel racing. She holds clinics and lectures across the U.S. and Canada.
Cathy has been certified as a therapeutic riding instructor by NARHA (now PATH), a yoga instructor by APFIA, and a thoroughbred racehorse rider by NHPC.
