BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: The White Heron Education Program allows young artists to be immersed in high level, personalized musical theatre training led by a skilled team of theater professionals of all backgrounds who work at top companies nationwide.

CAMP LOCATION: We are located on Nantucket Island in the state of MA.
CAMP FACILITIES: We have a state of the art theatre with a beautiful stage and studio rehearsal space. Housing/lodging is not provided for students.

Being versatile and responsive to the diverse demands of the craft today means you are a strong actor, able to lean into demanding choreography, take initiative, have full understanding of classical and contemporary scripts and scores, and develop knowledge of the current professional standard throughout the industry. The White Heron Student Company allows young artists to be immersed in high level, personalized musical theatre training led by a skilled team of theater professionals of all backgrounds who work at top companies nationwide.
The aim of Mixtape is to ensure that our students and alum are exposed to all of this plus the benefit of our team’s network. Long after summer ends, the Mixtape faculty will be there to help guide ambitious young theatre artists on their professional and personal aspirations. Furthermore, we strive to immerse the student company in a plethora of contemporary and classic musical theatre styles combined with a solid emphasis on current trends, from those on Broadway to those in the music scene off the stage. This year’s Mixtape theme excavates our company’s musicality and individuality as young artists. Register today for a summer which you will never forget!
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: If there is a financial need, we strongly encourage the family of any student who has a desire to participate to apply for tuition assistance. Please indicate if you would like a tuition assistance application in the billing section of our online 2022 program application.
