BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: The Nature Place is an ACA accredited, nature-oriented and non-competitive day camp for children ages 4-16, located on 200 acres in Chestnut Ridge, Rockland County, New York. Children at The Nature Place play, learn, and grow outdoors, with friends, through hands-on, pressure-free programming supported by a well-trained staff. Campers come to us (we bus!) from Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bergen, Rockland and Westchester Counties.

CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Theater, Music/Band, Fine Arts/Crafts, Swimming, Team Sports, Science, Adventure, Wilderness/Nature, and more. Hiking, Cooking, Gardening, Farming, Earth Art, Drama, Music

CAMP LOCATION: The Nature Place Day Camp is located on 200 acres in Chestnut Ridge, Rockland County, New York, 30 minutes north of New York City.

CAMP FACILITIES: We are located on the grounds of the Green Meadow Waldorf School and Threefold Educational Foundation, which provide us with beautiful, spacious indoor facilities as well as the fields, woods, streams, farm, gardens, and swimming facility that make us The Nature Place.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Nature Place is a nature-oriented, non-competitive day camp.
