BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Not your average summer program. A luxury training experience combining the old world finishing of France and Switzerland with a modern-day twist. This course instills the social graces and polish needed to be competitive today. Mornings are filled with etiquette and self-development lessons while afternoons will have your young lady experiencing the art and culture of Washington. Stretching, relaxation and reading breaks on the veranda are built into our programming.

CAMP LOCATION: The elegant ambiance of the Historic Morrison-Clark Inn & Restaurant located at 1011 L Street, NW, Washington, DC

CAMP FACILITIES: Luncheons taken in the dining room. Lessons in the Parlor room. And activities in downtown Washington, DC

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: We invite young ladies ages 10-13 to join us for the Summer Finishing School. Surrounded by the elegance and ambiance of the Historic Morrison Clark Inn in downtown Washington participants will be immersed in poise, polish and politesse, known by the French as le savoir vivre. Multiple-course luncheons will be served. The week-long experience concludes with afternoon tea.

Etiquette, Manners, Deportment, Floral arrangement, Dress codes, Personal image & style, Art de la table, unique cutlery, dining terminology, Multiple-course fine dining etiquette, Digital first impressions, Public speaking, Life skills: laundry care and folding, bed-making & turn down, Personal grooming & skincare, Arts, and Culture.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: The Etiquette Institute of Washington additional offers a year-long Finishing School and monthly courses for children and teens.
