BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, The Caedmon School Discovery Camp is a travel based program dedicated to the discovery of the many wonders in and around the five boroughs of New York that make this an amazing and unique city.
Our facility is right in the middle of the greatest city in the world, and we take full advantage of the many attractions available to entice, engage, and expand the horizons of naturally curious children. From the top of Manhattan’s Empire State Building to the attractions of Coney Island, our groups will participate in age-appropriate trips and activities, guided by experienced Caedmon teachers and other talented specialists.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Dance, Theater, Musical Theater, Fine Arts/Crafts, Soccer, Swimming, Tennis, Team Sports, Science, Technology, Academics, Travel, and more. This Summer We Will Be Offering Academic Support To Campers & Families Who Wish To Receive Reading, Writing, Or Math Supports During The Camp Day.
CAMP LOCATION: We are located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan on East 80th Street, between 1st Avenue and York Avenue.
CAMP FACILITIES: When campers are not on a trip, they will have a full complement of fun activities in Caedmon’s four-story building. Highly skilled counselors will guide them in swimming, arts and crafts, cooking, movement, music, science, tennis, and, of course, sports and games in the outdoor courtyard. The three youngest groups will also have waterplay 2–3 times per week.
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Limited financial aid is available. A financial aid form from the camp must be filled out. This form is available on our camp website at Our Camp Website Link: www.caedmondiscoverycamp.org.
