TYPE OF CAMP: Day Camp. 9:30am-3pm (*8am-5:30pm)

CAMPER GENDER(S): Coed Campers.

BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Utilizing creative play, our youngest students explore the range of their imaginations through theatre games, music, movement, arts and crafts, and children’s literature. This fun and friendly camp is perfect to help children develop self confidence, focus, and teamwork as they enhance creativity and problem‐solving skills.

CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Theater, Music/Band, Academics, and more. Creative Drama

CAMP LOCATION: Florida Children's Theatre is located in the main campus of Broward College in Davie. We have a satellite location in the Galleria Mall (just off the Beach on Sunrise Boulevard - 2524B East Sunrise Blvd., Fort Lauderdale) near the side entrance to Dillards. Parking is available on the 3rd Floor of the Lime Green Parking Garage.

CAMP FACILITIES: We have our own facility with classrooms and a 175 seat theatre in the Broward College campus. We have a classroom at the Galleria Mall. The students are rotated between theatre, movement, and craft activities.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Each week has a unique theme that results is a showcase performance that will be filmed and streamed for campers’ families.

Due to COVID-19 there will not be live showcases. Showcases will be filmed the final two days of each session to be streamed later.

Camps will operate in-person at 40% of regular capacity with mask requirements, temperature checks, and sanitation protocols in place. Testing may be required. COVID procedures are subject to change.

Our younger campers are encouraged to explore their imaginations and boost their self confidence through theatre games and other activities.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: We offer theatre classes during the school year. Check our website - Our Camp Website Link: www.flct.org in June 2022 for offerings.

OTHER CAMP INFO: *8am-5:30pm: Extended hours are available via Before Care and After Care at an additional cost. Before Care is $7 day (8 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.); After Care is $15/day (3 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.)

Campers bring their own lunch and two snacks. Water bottles are suggested.

4-day camp - no camp Monday 7/4)

Week 5: July 11 - July 15, 2022 (Passport to Perform)

Week 6: July 18 - July 22, 2022 (Outer Space)

Week 7: July 25 - July 29, 2022 (Disney Dreams)

Week 8: August 1 - August 5, 2022 (Marvelous Magic)
