BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Summer camp at Select Show Horses combines learning and fun! Two sessions of riding every day are combined with learning to groom, tack, feed, bathe, and – of course – clean stalls. Games on horseback build skills while teaching horse control and balance. Daily crafts in the air conditioned crafts room give riders a chance to “chill out.” And, a horse show held the final day of camp gives parents the opportunity to see their campers’ accomplishments.

CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Horses/Equestrian, and more.

CAMP LOCATION: We are about 10 minutes north of Westfield High School, just east of Sheridan.

CAMP FACILITIES: A large, indoor arena is the camp staging area. 26 acres of pasture and hay fields surround the main barn.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: If you are not able to attend Summer Camp this year, sign up for our year-round lesson program. An Academy Show Program lets our students experience show ring competition without the commitment of purchasing a horse.
