BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Sol offers a comprehensive and nurturing environment for young artists to expand their horizons while, at the same time, Staging full-length, fully staged productions in which each young actor has the opportunity to present their talents and progress.Sol Children Theatre is thrilled and proud to announce the 2018 Summer Musical Theatre Performance Intensive! This is a five-week program offering the opportunity to experience “what it is” to put on a full-length, fully-staged production. From performing on stage to learning the technical aspects that go on behind the scenes, each participant will receive one-on-one training to further their love and gain a deeper appreciation for the performing arts. This is a one of a kind program located right here in Boca Raton at Sol Theatre.
Our weeks are packed with friendly games and contests, so the fun never stops!
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Dance, Theater, Musical Theater, Music/Band, Fine Arts/Crafts, and more.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Open to campers aged 10 and older
Enrollment limited to 20 participants
One 5-week session (June 11 – 29; off July 2 – 6; back July 9 – 20)
Camp hours: Monday through Friday 9am – 3pm
Shows: July 20 – 22 (Fri. & Sat. 7pm; Sat. & Sun. 2pm)
Tuition $1,000
Lunches, meals, snacks not provided … participants to pack their own; there is a refrigerator and microwave available

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: We also offer .... Our Musical Theatre Performance Experience. MTPE starts in the Fall, and students learn all about what it takes to put on a fully staged production culminating in a full weekend run of performances.
