BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: For 50 years, Roaring Brook Camp has been dedicated to the principle that a boy's growth is stimulated through wilderness living and adventure. We believe confidence and satisfaction with life come through personal achievement. Our intent is to build self-reliance, resourcefulness, will-to-achieve and service to others, primarily through a program of outdoor education, adventure while keeping the fun in camping.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Swimming, Waterfront/Aquatics, Adventure, Wilderness/Nature, and more. Rock Climbing, Rappelling, Tyrolean Traverse, Ropes Course, Bouldering, Survival Training, Kayaking, Canoeing, Fishing, Fly-Tying, Blacksmithing, Primitive Woodwork, Leatherwork, Archery, Marksmanship, Orienteering, Fitness, Search & Rescue.
CAMP LOCATION: Located 2 miles north of Bradford, VT on a 650 acre forest preserve with 15 acre, private, stocked lake.
CAMP FACILITIES: We have 10 large three-sided living shelters, cooking areas, main cabin for crafts and programs, kitchen, archery and marksmanship ranges, blacksmith shop, playing fields, ropes course, rock climbing cliff and complete waterfront.

CAMP SESSION DATES & FEES:
All sessions are two-weeks. Sessions can be combined for a longer camp experience.

We welcome applications from men aged 21 and older who are US residents/citizens (foreign staff must apply through an approved agency). All staff (including kitchen) live with 6-8 campers and another staff member, teach basic outdoor skills, lead backpack trips and assist with canoe trip. Applicants must possess general outdoor skills in addition to possessing or learning a specific teaching area. Must possess high energy and willingness to live a rustic camp lifestyle.
Rock Climbing/Ropes Course Instructors- Top Rope Program and 16 element high ropes course
Swim/Canoe Instructor- LGT certified
Kayaking Instructor- LGT preferred
Fishing Instructor- Fly and Spin Casting
Rifle Instructor- .22 caliber long rifle
Blacksmith- camp will train outdoorsman in this skill
Woodwork Instructor-camp will train outdoorsman in this skill.
Kitchen Worker-may be under 21, full counselor and trip leader. Great position to learn outdoor leadership skils.
