BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Omni's Summer of Leadership is a three-week day camp designed to give teens ages 13-17 the skills they need to be more engaged and empowered as future leaders in their communities. Scholarships are available, but you have to register by May 31, 2015.
SPECIAL NEEDS CAMPERS: We will strive to accommodate any special needs; please indicate your needs in your registration.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Fine Arts/Crafts, Video/Filmmaking/Photography, Math, Science, Technology, Academics, and more. Communication, Natural Sciences, Cooking, Gardening, Creative Writing. We Strive To Offer A Wide Variety Of Activities.
CAMP LOCATION: We are in Fayetteville, Ark., a diverse and vibrant college town with many opportunities for community involvement.
CAMP FACILITIES: The Omni Center for Peace, Justice, and Ecology is a large converted home. We have a kitchen for cooking, a backyard for outdoor activities, and a large central room for indoor activities. However, we don't just stay at the Omni Center; we take frequent field trips to local community gardens, the recycling center, the public television station, and other important locations.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Omni Summer is in its fourth year. Our philosophy is that young people are the future leaders, so we want to make sure they have all the skills they need to step into that role.
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: We have both full and partial scholarships available. Campers must register and apply by May 31, 2015.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Our Youth Resource Board is an independent committee of the Omni Center created to empower, educate, and engage the youth of NW Arkansas to become leaders in a future of peace, justice, and ecology.
