TYPE OF CAMP: Day Camp.
CAMPER GENDER(S): Coed Campers.
BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: We have a 5 day long day camp teaching all about horses, horse training, enjoying some free play, great lunches and snacks, and of course some horse back riding. We will offer 3 camps this summer and spots are limited to 6 children per camp.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Horses/Equestrian, and more.
CAMP LOCATION: We are located 10 miles East of Bastrop, La.
CAMP FACILITIES: We have an outdoor pool, recreation, riding arena, round pen, barns and lots of other fun farm things to do.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our program mostly revolves around horses. There are 4 staff members and we keep our number of children low so we can spend enough time with each one and teach them all they need to know about horse ownership.
All activities will be outdoors here. We will have lunches on the picnic table. This camp is to show your child what it is to own a horse and the responsibilities that come with a horse all the while showing them the many positive things we get from our horses. Horses teach respect, bonds, trust, patience, and confidence.
