TYPE OF CAMP: Overnight/Sleepaway. Day Camp.
CAMPER GENDER(S): Coed Campers.
BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: The Nike Cross Country Camp at UC Santa Cruz gives high school distance runners the chance to learn and run in one of the finest and most picturesque training environments on the West Coast.
Campers stay and eat on campus at UCSC facilities. Runs will take place on campus, utilizing some of the over 20 miles of off-road trails, or just 5 minutes off campus at the beach! Our camp is designed to teach you the fundamentals of cross country, and prepare you for your upcoming fall season. The emphasis will be on providing a fun-filled week of learning and training.

CAMP LOCATION: UC Santa Cruz is located just 35 miles from San Jose, on a beautiful coastal campus overlooking the Pacific Ocean, and surrounded by gorgeous views and towering redwoods.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Director Adam Boothe’s passion for running has stayed with him throughout a successful high school and collegiate running career, an NCAA coaching career, post-collegiate coaching, and as a running store owner. A Northern California native, Adam graduated from Pioneer HS in 1997. While at Pioneer, Boothe was a CCS Champion and two-time cross country state championships qualifier.
