TYPE OF CAMP: Day Camp.

CAMPER GENDER(S): All Girl Campers.

BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: This summer, The University of Akron’s popular Multiply Your Options Summer Camp returns! Held June 21-25 from 8 a.m.- noon, the camp is for girls entering 7th, 8th, or 9th grade who are interested in STEM. This year’s camp will take place virtually.

CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Math, Science, Academics, and more. Engineering

CAMP LOCATION: We are located right in the middle of Akron within the University of Akron. The camp itself is located in the college of engineering.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Students will conduct hands-on experiments and tour local area companies to see engineers in action. On the last day, they will apply what they learned to compete for the MYO Super Engineer crown. Past participants have shared that the best part of camp is all the friends they meet during the week! Cost is $99 and registration can be made on our Women in Engineering program website or by contacting Heidi Cressman, Director of Diversity and Inclusion for the College of Engineering and Polymer Science, at hec9[AT]uakron.edu.
