BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Mission Creek Camp is a residential camp for individuals with all abilities, especially disabilities. Activities include horseback riding, hiking,archery, splash park, arts & crafts and a lot of fun!
SPECIAL NEEDS CAMPERS: Entire program is designed for individuals with disabilities
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Horses/Equestrian, Waterfront/Aquatics, Volleyball, and more. Archery, Soccer, Other Sports
CAMP LOCATION: Mission Creek is located 15 minutes west of Topeka Kansas in the Flint hills. 7240 SW Douglas Road, Topeka, KS
CAMP FACILITIES: We have Pine Haven Lodge and a remodeled kitchen dining hall with a Cordon Bleu educated Chef. We have rustic cabin areas that are the perfect setting for fire side experiences and allowing campers to interact. Indoor arena for rainy day horseback riding. This facility has undergone a face lift and is a beautiful facility.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Mission Creek Camp is a new developed camp for individuals with disabilities, however we are open to all campers. Our staff will be at a 1:3 ratio staff to campers. We have a Registered RN that will be at the camp the entire season. The Core Values Mission Creek Camp are

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Our Counselor In Training Program si still in the planning stages
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Our fees are based on the family income of the camper or campers attending. There is also a credit for more than one family member.
YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Family weekends begin after the camping season the end of August

The fees for Mission Creek Camp are on a sliding scale depending on your income, verification of your income is needed.
SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
