BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Maplewood Country Day Camp offers a diverse program for children ages 4-14.

CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Dance, Theater, Music/Band, Fine Arts/Crafts, Basketball, Football, Baseball, Soccer, Golf, Gymnastics, Horses/Equestrian, Swimming, Tennis, Waterfront/Aquatics, Volleyball, Team Sports, Science, Technology, Adventure, and more. Rock Climbing/Ropes Course, Archery, Pedal Karts, Bumper Boats, Nature, Gardening, Lego Robotics, Softball & More.
CAMP LOCATION: We are located 25 miles South of Boston, Masschusetts on 25 acres of recreational land.
CAMP FACILITIES: Indoor Camp Areas
Our air conditioned main building features areas for specialty activities:
Gymnastics room
Dance studio
Karate center
Arts & crafts rooms
Drama studio
Fully equipped gymnasium with 2 basketball courts
State-of-the-art rock climbing wall

Outdoor Camp Areas
Maplewood Day Camp offers many fun outdoor activities for kids:
Two (2) heated, Olympic sized pools
5 acre lake for boating and fishing
Playing fields
Basketball and beach volleyball courts
Archery range
Miniature golf course
Wonderful gardens
Animal barnyard
Pedal Go-Kart race track

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: C.I.T. (Counselor In Training Program): The C.I.T. program gives our most mature campers, who are entering the 8th and 9th grades, a feel for what it take to be a counselor, while still having the opportunity to participate in all of the great activities at Maplewood.
In their role as a Maplewood C.I.T. they will have the opportunity to develop the skills and confidence that will help them to become effective leaders and positive role models.

SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
Accredited Day Camp in South Easton, MA seeks teachers or individuals with education certification to work with children ages 3-14. You will be responsible for leading groups of children through their daily activities. Applicant will also be responsible for supervising other staff members. Individuals must have prior experience working with children.
If you enjoy working with children; the outdoors; environments that are rewarding and challenging then this is the job for you. Camp dates are June 29-August 21. Hours are Monday-Friday from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M.
