Dance, Theater, Musical Theater, and more.
CAMP LOCATION: Lyric Arts Theater is located at 420 East Main Street in downtown Anoka, MN, about 25 minutes from downtown Minneapolis.
CAMP FACILITIES: In addition to a 228 seat bowl-style theater, our building houses a dance studio, full scene shop, and rehearsal hall.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Kidz Bop Kabaret
Love to pop, rock and bop? Join us as we move and groove through the wildly popular Kidz Bop albums and create a clever cabaret full of kid-friendly versions of current Top 40 hits. A final presentation for family and friends will take place on the last day of this workshop series.

Young Amelia Bedelia
Meet Young Amelia Bedelia – an adventurous girl who takes everything literally. Though this can lead to hilarious misunderstandings, Amelia faces her problems with a positive, can-do attitude. We’ll rehearse memorable moments from this wildly popular chapter book series. A final presentation for family and friends will take place on the last day of this workshop series.

Hard Knock Life
Love the spotlight? Target your “triple threat” skills – singing, dancing, and acting – while rehearsing a musical medley of two great tough-it-out musical numbers for girls and boys: “Hard Knock Life” from Annie and “Seize the Day” from Newsies. A final presentation for family and friends will take place on the last day of each workshop series.

American Girl
Courage, honesty and strength surround every American Girl character. No matter what era she comes from, each girl exudes a positive energy. Bring your favorite character to life in an original presentation using song, dance, acting and narration. A final presentation for family and friends will take place on the last day of this workshop series.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: At Lyric Arts Main Street Stage, we are committed to providing high-quality learning and performing opportunities to students of all ages. Our popular workshops offer students the opportunity to develop performing skills and build self-confidence through exercises in song, stage movement, voice projection, acting technique, improvisation, and more. In addition to Spring Break day camps, we offer three full seasons of educational programming in Summer, Fall, and Winter/Spring.
