CAMP LOCATION: We are located in the beautiful south east area of Charlotte, NC. Among Charlotte's most prestigious private schools and families.
CAMP FACILITIES: We have state of the art class room facilities, great dining hall, outdoor recreation, and large gym.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our camps give campers an innovative start to learning how to code, robotics, and engineering. Our weekly camps include a variety of STEM activities. Exploring digital art, App design, and robotics! Learning all about motors, sensors, and power! Most of all campers will create, design, and build their own projects and take them home! They will be easy to make, fun to personalize, and good, goofy fun to design! We will toss a little engineering and programming lessons that are design to teach kids how to code and follow the engineering design process.
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: We will be awarding 5 partial scholarships to families who have a child that is interested in STEM
YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: STEM Saturdays excite students about STEM and STEAM! This is an excellence time to introduce STEM to kids and families, or challenge students who have participated in their school tech clubs or robotic competitions. STEM Saturdays engage children with fun activities, creating, building and designing products that they can use to build a business or keep as a "keepsake" personal project.
OTHER CAMP INFO: Kids-N-Technology®, is one of the pioneers in STEM enrichment. We are the original camp for ”build your own… and take it home! In 2002 Kids-N-Technology®, was teaching kids as young as 8 years old, how to build their own state of the art computer, and yes, they took it home! For 13 years and counting, Kids-N-Technology®, has been shaping, redefining, growing, and blazing the trail in STEM. Our ability to successfully blend hands-on technology, real world problem solving, exploration and play, with leadership, communication, and creative thinking skills has been the foundation of our success.
