BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: The week-long Iowa Leadership Training Camp focuses on developing the leadership traits of high school student leaders. Students develop valuable skills that will set them apart on college and scholarship applications. Businesses are constantly seeking students with leadership potential. Students attending ILTC will learn valuable communication, collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, flexibility, adaptability, and productivity and accountability skills that employers are seeking. The curriculum focuses on team-building techniques, self-awareness, self esteem, communication skills, goal setting, leadership styles, organization, problem-solving, decision making, and evaluation.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:

CAMP LOCATION: We are located on the University or Northern Iowa campus in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
CAMP FACILITIES: Students are housed in air-conditioned college dorm rooms.
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Iowa Association of Student Councils will offer one scholarship to a student attending from any school who has never sent a student to this camp. If one high school sends three or more students, each student from that school will receive a $25 discount per student.
