BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: International Music Sessions is a truly unique summer music camp serving children in the Hamptons and La Jolla! World class teachers and artists are brought in to teach piano, strings, guitar, voice, percussion, and wind instruments. Children receive 2 private lessons per week in addition to an exciting core curriculum- including Improv, Composition, Performance Etiquette, Drumline, Music History & Theory, and Yoga, just to name a few! Meet musicians from all different cultures and make friends all over the world.

IMS participants can pursue their passion for Music in a safe, supportive environment overseen by internationally acclaimed instructors who are at the top of the field. Every student receives individual private lessons and group ensemble coachings, in addition to the rest of the core curriculum.

IMS students participate in Improv, Song-writing, and Composition classes and take Music Theory & History. Learn the building blocks of Music. Express your creative self.

IMS students not only get special performance opportunities, but they also take an Etiquette Seminar with celebrity musicians and actors. Learn how to walk, talk, bow, dress, and carry yourself on stage and in public situations with poise. Build Confidence.
Get Moving!
IMS presents Yoga classes specifically designed to address body alignment and control, stress management and relaxation techniques. Breathe. Relax. Move with the Music.
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Limited number of scholarships available for local year-round residents.

CAMP SESSION DATES & FEES:
East Hampton dates are August 1-12 (M-F) from 9:30am-3:30pm. Tuition is $2000. La Jolla dates are June 27-July 1 (M-F) from 9:30am-3:30pm. Tuition is $1000.
