TYPE OF CAMP: Day Camp. 9am-12pm

CAMPER GENDER(S): Coed Campers.

BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Heaven's Gait is an exciting Equestrian Day Camp for special needs individuals. Riders are led by trained instructors and enjoy a one-to-one ratio. While at camp, riders participate in the following activities: daily riding instruction, sensory trail stations, proper grooming techniques, tacking a horse properly, care of tack, barn chores and crafts. The Horse Show is our culminating event each week.

SPECIAL NEEDS CAMPERS: Heaven's Gait is a Special Needs Camp. We only serve special needs individuals.

CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Fine Arts/Crafts, Horses/Equestrian, and more. Special Needs.

CAMP LOCATION: Heaven's Gait is housed at Alpha Equestrian Center, located in Woodstock, Georgia.

CAMP FACILITIES: Heaven's Gait enjoys an 18 stall barn and a wooded sensory trail with multiple stations. Our covered arena ensures that riding instruction can take place, regardless of weather. Please visit our website!

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our mission is to provide emotional, physical and social benefits for children and adults with special needs such as Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Asperger Syndrome, Autism, Developmental Delay and other therapeutic needs.

Heaven's Gait employs 3 PATH International certified riding instructors. Riders enjoy a one-to-one camper/adult ratio.

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Partial scholarship funds may be available.
