TYPE OF CAMP: Day Camp. Full days and half days offered
CAMPER GENDER(S): Coed Campers.
BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Challenger Learning Center of Colorado. Launch rockets, create a working electrical circuit out of playdough, build a LEGO® alligator that sings, or program a Mindstorm® robot to play dodgeball in our Aerospace Adventure Camps! Younger students will discover the basics of engineering and explore outer space through hands-on projects, LEGO®s, and literature.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Science, Technology, Academics, Adventure, and more.
CAMP LOCATION: Camps are offered throughout June and July at five different locations across Colorado Springs and Douglas County. Please check our website for more details at Our Camp Website Link: www.clccs.org.
Challenger Learning Center is located in Northeast Colorado Springs. We are connected to Challenger Middle School.
CAMP FACILITIES: Our camps are located in Library 21c in Briargate, local schools around town, and at our Challenger Learning Center location which is connected to Challenger Middle School.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: We have camps for different age groups!
Entering Grades 1-2: Choose from Space Adventures or Robonauts.
Entering Grades 3-5: Choose from Rocketeers, Jr. Robotics, and the new LEGO WeDo 2.0!
Entering Grades 6-8: Choose from LEGO Robotics and Advanced LEGO Robotics
Entering Grades 9-12: Space Engineering Odyssey
Camps are taught by Colorado certified teachers.
