BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Camp Blessing is a camp for children and young adults who have special needs and disabilities. It is a super fun loving environment with lots of great activities. It is a blessing to campers and volunteers alike.
SPECIAL NEEDS CAMPERS: Typical diagnosis of campers is down syndrome, autism, intellectual delay, cerebral palsy and many others. One camper to one counselor and Nurse onsite. Special diets for medically needed diets.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Horses/Equestrian, Swimming, Waterfront/Aquatics, and more.
CAMP LOCATION: We are located about an hour Northwest of Houston, TX just north of Brenham, TX. We are on 158 acres of beautiful rolling hills.
CAMP FACILITIES: Air conditioned cabins. Fully accessible cabins and activities
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: High energy, Christ-centered, and unbelievable fun;
We are a Christian special needs summer camp that has served the IDD community since 2006! We are accredited through the American Camp Association (ACA).
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Scholarship application is in the online registration process.
YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: We are a retreat facility the remainder of the year.
OTHER CAMP INFO: Our campers are children & adults who have physical or intellectual disabilities.
CAMP SESSION DATES & FEES:
Camper fee is $1695
Volunteer fee is only $395 to assist us with cost of meals, lodging and training. No experience needed.
SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
