BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Are you ready to spend part of your summer riding a horse, challenging yourself on the ropes course, aiming for a bull's-eye on the archery range, or cooling off from the Texas heat in a beautiful pool? Camp Bette Perot is home to all of this and more! Whether you are entering 2nd grade or are in high school; want to sleep in an air-conditioned cabin or outside in a platform tent; we hope to see you this summer!
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Fine Arts/Crafts, Horses/Equestrian, Swimming, Volleyball, Team Sports, Wilderness/Nature, and more. Archery, Hiking, Fishing
CAMP LOCATION: Camp Bette Perot is located approximately 100 miles from Dallas in a beautiful wooded area in East Texas near Palestine, TX.
Families have the option of driving their camper to/ from camp or for an additional fee can add bus transportation to/from Dallas.
CAMP FACILITIES: Camp Bette Perot is home to our award-winning Equestrian Program with a large riding arena and diverse riding trails. Camp program facilities include a swimming pool, extensive nature study sites, a sports/ game field, archery range, ropes course and climbing wall.
Camp facilities include the uniquely-designed air-conditioned Treehouse unit, three units made up of five air-conditioned cabins each and a platform tent unit located near the ropes course. Laird West Lodge is designed as an all-inclusive air-conditioned unit with bathroom facilities and program room inside. There are also two beautiful log cabins used for administration, programming and activities. The Hilltop Dining Lodge is a high-capacity dining area used for all campers and staff which includes a large indoor fireplace and glass windows for a spectacular view of the property. The Health Lodge is equipped with an emergency treatment room, individual rooms, and a ward.

Interested in working with girls and helping them develop their leadership skills and confidence in a fun, fast-paced, outdoor environment? GSNETX is looking for fantastic role models to join their resident camp staff as counselors, unit leaders, and nurses.
