BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: City Sculpting is a creative visual arts children's program with a specialized focus on SCULPTURE. Children aged 5 -14 tackle a new lesson in the elements of design daily, learning project-based sculpting, life casting, mosaics, and paper mache, as well as countless other forms of fine art. Younger children work on simpler creations, while older kids are encouraged to take on more detailed pieces.

CAMP LOCATION: The Sixth Street Community Center is located at 638 East 6th Street NY 10009 btw Ave B and C NYC, close to Tompkins Square Park.

CAMP FACILITIES: Every day children participate in a wide range of art activities. The day is divided into three activities separated by lunch (a wonderful opportunity for social bonding time with friends and staff) and outdoor snack times, weather permitting. Older children may have a slightly different schedule as activities will be geared to challenge each child personally.
All products used in the classroom are non-toxic and kid-friendly.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: City Sculpting is a creative visual arts children's program with a specialized focus on sculpture.
Children build on projects one day at a time, expanding their technical skills and creative realms. Older children are challenged with more advanced projects and techniques.
Staff to child ratio is 6 to 1 and the age range for the children who attend is 5-14.
Weekly fees: Sign up is on a weekly basis. Mon-Fri 9am-3pm Extended Hours available at an additional fee.
An EARLY BIRD special is open for the Summer and you will get a discounted weekly rate of $475 (East Village and Greenpoint) or $575 (Uptown Manhattan) if you register before June 16th, 2016. Our regular weekly rate is $550 (East Village and Brooklyn) or $650 (Uptown), materials included.

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Special circumstances are considered. Please contact us for a discount if you have more than one child attending or another special circumstance.
