TYPE OF CAMP: Day Camp. Daily 10 am - 3 pm
CAMPER GENDER(S): Coed Campers.
BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Jumpstart your fencing with our summer day camps. Fencers begin with the basics and by the end of the week will be trying out the same fast-paced electric bouting you’ll see in the Olympics. Separate sections run simultaneously for beginners and intermediate/advanced fencers; equipment provided for new beginners.

CAMP LOCATION: We're conveniently located 3 blocks from the R station at Union Street, on Degraw between 3rd & 4th Aves.
CAMP FACILITIES: Our club features locker rooms and 11,000 square feet of fencing facilities.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Brooklyn Fencing Center opened in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, in January 2003. We are proud to be Brooklyn's first competitive fencing club, and our mission is to make the excitement and joy of fencing more accessible to Brooklynites of all ages. We have appeared on the WB11 10 o'clock news, Fox 5's Good Morning New York and in the pages of Time Out New York, not to mention features in many local Brooklyn papers.
Our fencers have gone on to represent top collegiate fencing programs at Duke, Penn State, Brandeis and many more.
YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Brooklyn Fencing runs group and private classes throughout the year on a trimester schedule; there are also monthly one-time intro groups for new beginners. For full schedule and class descriptions, visit Our Camp Website Link: www.brooklynfencing.com
