TYPE OF CAMP: Day Camp. Spring Camps: Monday-Friday, 9a-12p

BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: At Breaking Barriers Respite Camps our goal is to create an experience for our community that they otherwise would not have access to. We understand the barriers that many families with special needs face, and we want our camps to help break them down. This is why our camps are constructed with adaptable activities that encourage personal and social development. At a respite camp, our participants will have access to engaging activities like: games, arts & crafts, water play, music therapy, and special guest programs. Each week will focus on a specific communication skill that will be developed through interactive and creative curriculum. At the end of the week we hope our multifaceted camp will have sparked personal growth, as well as new friendships. Come join the fun!
SPECIAL NEEDS CAMPERS: Campers will have access to stimulating activities that nurture both individual and social needs. By creating a safe environment that promotes social reciprocity, we are able to provide opportunities for our campers to learn and grow.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Dance, Music/Band, Fine Arts/Crafts, Gymnastics, Martial Arts, Team Sports, and more. We Offer A Variety Of Different Sport Activities Throughout Camp To Accommodate Different Interests
CAMP FACILITIES: For our spring camp we will be hosted at a martial arts school.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: On site we will have: a camp manager, trained behavior therapists. Off site we have: a camp director
We have been running our camps for 7 years, and they have continued to grow bigger and better each year.
