BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: This Los Angeles Acting School’s philosophy is that artists can draw upon all different acting techniques and form a toolbox of their own, their very own Golden Box. Our actors develop a comprehensive set of “acting tools” when approaching a role or a scene whether it be for film, television or theater.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Theater, Musical Theater, Music/Band, and more.
CAMP LOCATION: We are located in Santa Monica, CA, on the middle of Main Street, between Ocean and Pico. Our school lies next to the beach and is on an attractive location for locals and tourists.
CAMP FACILITIES: A great 2 complex theater space, with comfortable seating and room for a lot of movement.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our teachers are highly qualified in their field.
We have educated and graduate acting teachers from Acting Schools such as Julliard and Yale.
All of our staff consists of professionals film and production creatives from the industry.
Michelle Danner’s Los Angeles acting school specializes in the Meisner Technique, Lee Strasberg’s Method, Stella Adler, Stanislavski’s System, and the Chekhov technique.
Michelle Danner is the founder and artistic director of The Edgemar Center for the Arts and is a renowned actor, director, and award-winning acting coach.
As an acting coach, Michelle has worked with A List talent privately and on set, including Salma Hayek, James Franco, Gerard Butler, Chris Rock, Seth MacFarlane, Penelope Cruz, Michael Pena, Isla Fisher, Common, and Zooey Deschanel.
YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: We offer Acting|Improvisation|Auditioning for Film|Musical theater classes & Summer Film|Acting|Musical theater Camps that stimulate and encourage students of all ages and experience levels.
Whether the student is interested in a career as a professional actor, or just expanding his/her imagination, our acting classes will give students a safe and comfortable space to be creative and think outside of the box.

Singing Camp for Children & Teens
Do you love to act, sing and dance? This high energy singing Summer Camp will incorporate acting, singing, and dancing. We will create our own mini version of a musical.
Tuition: $535
*Only the week of July 17th and July 31 is currently open for the singing camp.

Make A Movie Camp
A different film is made each week.
Students will write and star in their own original short film.
We will guide them as they take their thoughts and ideas to the page, and from the page to the screen. This is a one-of-a-kind experience, and we are thrilled to be able to to see what ideas our students come up with and help make it a reality on screen!
Monday thru Friday 9am-3:30pm

Acting and Improv Camp
Develop a solid acting technique and foundation.
IMPROV WORKOUT: Fun improvisational games & exercises.
AUDITIONING FOR FILM AND TELEVISION ON CAMERA: Practice auditioning techniques & get on camera experience.
SCENE STUDY: The best way to learn is though hands on experience with direction. Work on scenes & monologues
VOICE INTENSIVE: Vocal and speech exercises.
