TYPE OF CAMP: Overnight/Sleepaway. Day Camp. Daily 8am-6pm and overnight camping trips.

BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Backpacks and Binoculars is driven by a team of educators, artists, parents, adventurers and explorers dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and families through first-hand experiences, enrichment activities and a creative curriculum. Understanding that the world is our playground, our focus is encouraging global citizenship. We achieve this through our exemplary camps, afterschool programs and individualized programs for groups, organizations, and families. Our programs and services are designed to enlighten, enrich, and encourage our youngest citizens as we explore our amazing world. At Backpacks and Binoculars, our mission is to explore!

CAMP LOCATION: Our summer adventure camp is housed is in downtown Brooklyn. This is where our morning begins, but after breakfast and a pre-trip activity, our campers hop the bus and venture out to various excursions in and around our beautiful city.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Backpacks and Binoculars teaches children how to explore the world - the one around them and the world at large. We partner with parents to develop healthy, well-rounded children who become excited about serving their community and learning about the world. Throughout the year, our explorers experience different cultures while learning important insights and skills that prepare them to be caring, responsible citizens of a global community. Our explorers learn to value both the similarities and differences between themselves and others. They also participate in many exciting excursions carefully crafted to engage, excite, and explore.
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Early Bird Specials from December 1-31st!
YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Backpacks and Binoculars also hosts an Afterschool program and School Break Camps for school aged and preschool students!
