BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Our week-long summer camps encourage and empower kids to explore a variety of art disciplines and diverse media. Our camps are fun and educational, with themes ranging from claymation to theater to food as art. Emphasis is on exploration and experimentation, allowing participants to learn by doing and develop individual creativity.
SPECIAL NEEDS CAMPERS: Our space is wheelchair accessible, we are used to accommodating allergies, and our teachers are happy to work with students with emotional/learning needs.

CAMP LOCATION: We are located in Seward neighborhood of South Minneapolis, near the University of Minnesota and Augsburg College - just west of the Mississippi River.
CAMP FACILITIES: We have three classrooms that also function as studio space for our adult classes. Students make art in a professional art environment suitable for working artists. Campers also visit nearby neighborhood parks daily.

Articulture defines artistic success by effectively making an arts experience educational, engaging and meaningful. Our programming focuses on using the creative process to encourage creative thinking in an open ended approach to arts education.
All of our teachers are working professional artists from the community.
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Articulture has scholarships available for families in need. Email info[AT]articulture.org to request the form. Our baseline scholarship is 60% off tuition price, though we also have a no one turned away for lack of funds policy.
YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Articulture has established a tradition of offering interactive opportunities that place emphasis on the creative process—the act of making art. We offer classes and workshops for ages 1 year through adults; ongoing projects that support community development through creativity; and programs that aim to increase accessibility to the arts. The outcome is an experience for participants, amateur and expert alike, that meets both the artistic and social needs of the community.
CAMP SESSION DATES & FEES:
WHEN: Camps run weekly from June 11th through August 31st for ages 4 - 18. Full and half day options are available as well as before and after care.
COST: Ranges from $132-$285. Scholarships are available.
