BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: This level is for beginning students as well as those who have already been in a dance program. In addition to a daily dance class, children learn about and watch a different famous classical ballet each week. They explore their own creativity through exercise in movement concepts. Students also learn valuable lessons about anatomy, nutrition, dance history and vocabulary. Every child goes home with their own Ballet Camp Scrapbook they have created each week.

CAMP LOCATION: We are located across the bay from San Francisco in the East Bay in beautiful downtown Alameda. There is plenty of street parking, shopping and a movie theater (all within walking distance) to enjoy while your camper is having fun!
CAMP FACILITIES: Our Ballet studio is located in downtown Alameda near shopping and restaurants. It is in a beautiful old building with hardwood floors and large windows with lots of natural light.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Ages 4-6yrs: This level is for beginning students as well as those who have already been in a dance program. In addition to a daily dance class, children learn about and watch a different famous classical ballet each week. They explore their own creativity through exercise in movement concepts. Students also learn valuable lessons about anatomy, nutrition, dance history and vocabulary. Every child goes home with their own Ballet Camp Scrapbook they have created each week.
Ages 7-12yrs: This level is similar in structure and content to the camp for 4 - 6 year olds, but is for children whose focus, coordination, reading and writing skills are more developed. This camp includes a daily ballet class, video of a classical ballet, lessons in music, dance history, anatomy, nutrition and ballet vocabulary. Students explore their creativity with exercises in choreography and activities related to the classical ballet they are studying. Plus, students go home with their own Ballet Camp Scrapbook they have created each week.
