CAMP FACILITIES: Kathleen Elliott's equestrian program combines qualified staff, experienced horses, and excellent facilities to create an atmosphere where campers can refine their horseback riding skills, expand their horsemanship knowledge, and enjoy riding with friends. Kathleen's summer & holiday vacation horse camps aim to teach children (ages 6-16) about the wonderful world of horses. Through horse-related games and activities, campers learn about the care of horses, their characteristics, breeds, colors, and safe handling--both on the ground and while mounted--in a fun-filled environment. Children are supervised by trained staff and counselors and learn horsemanship skills from horses suitable for the young rider. Kids Horse Camp is designed for all levels of riders--from a child's first experience with a horse to an experienced youth rider who shows hunter-jumpers or dressage.
Kathleen's camp is both an educational and recreational experience focusing on HORSES. We offer a variety of camp activities, which include playing HORSE games, grooming HORSES, riding HORSES, feeding HORSES, learning about horse health and nutrition, HORSE crafts, bathing HORSES, watching HORSES, oh and of course, more RIDING HORSES!
Our friendly and supportive atmosphere helps every camper feel important. We strive to make each camper feel special so campers develop confidence in their personal horsemanship and riding abilities. Our camp motto, “Anything is Possible at Kathleen Elliot’s”, translates into a positive enabling environment where kids know that anything is possible!

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Learn from a certified ARIA equestrian trainer and respected California show judge. We enjoy tailoring the horse camp experience to each camper and offer a fun filled summer learning adventure with horses and good friends.
There is a strong focus on camper participation, safety and leadership. As campers become comfortable with daily routines, they are encouraged to contribute and given opportunities to assume more leadership responsibilities. Those interested in expanding their horsemanship have opportunities to assist riders and learn about teaching skills.
Kathleen Elliott teaches skills and promotes confidence in horse care, safety practices, proper equitation and the joy of the relationship between horse and rider. Because our camp is a non-competitive, skills-oriented camp, we pride ourselves on giving our riders sound, safe information and practice with horse care and riding.
Our Summer HORSE PROGRAM is a fantastic way for children to learn about horses and riding as well as develop more proficient and nuanced riding skills. We have lots of fun riding and caring for some very sweet horses. We offer lessons in Western, English or bareback, which start at beginning levels but provide an opportunity for kids to advance based on their ability and experience. Each child is evaluated on his/her riding ability and placed in a group comprised of those with corresponding ages and skills. For kids who like horses, nothing can create memories of a lifetime like attending a quality Horse Summer Camp. We invite your child to enjoy all the fun a quality horse summer camp has to offer while improving their riding skills and their knowledge of horses at the same time. Summers spent at a riding camp can create friendships and experiences that your child will cherish for years to come. This Season's Summer Camp will have exciting demonstration's, horse related games, crafts and more. We also will educate your children on the knowledge and hard work it takes to properly care for their equine buddy.
