CAMP LOCATION: Centauri Arts Camp is located in the beautiful Niagara region of Canada. Just 45 minutes from the US border.
CAMP FACILITIES: Centauri Arts Camp is based at a residential school in the Niagara Region of Ontario, Canada. The central camp area is approximately 30 acres set among 165 acres of woodland and meadow bordered by the picturesque Welland river.
Facilities include: Permanent stone and wood buildings include boys and girls dormitories, camp dining hall, workshop & rehearsal rooms, dance hall with sprung floor, visual arts studio and theatre studio.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Centauri Summer Arts Camp is a residential summer program specializing in the arts. Campers choose from programs such as Theatre, Dance, Music, Stage Combat, Musical Theatre, Playwriting, Creative Writing, Film Production, Fine Art, Cartoon Creation, Photography and Design. Specialists are selected before summer; campers spend four hours daily in their chosen activity, and also choose from daily electives in sports or the arts.
Centauri offers excellent residential and arts facilities, and a supportive, community atmosphere in which creative youth can thrive and grow. Counsellors are older, and highly trained. At Centauri, young people have an opportunity to focus on the arts while gaining all the benefits of an overnight camp experience.
