Our camps and programs are offered locally throughout over 500 communities. The format includes traditional week-long summer day camps and year-round after-school programs that range from 45 minutes to 6 hours in duration, per day. Our progression of camps and programs, led by our expert staff, are generated toward youth looking for a sport introduction or those who want to refine and master their sport-specific skills.

For Detailed Information on ALL of our summer sports camps, please visit our website at This Website Link.

Our coaches and site directors make a significant difference to your childs on-field experience. Chosen for their strong personal character, responsibility, and capacity to effectively communicate sports skills to youth, our staff will make the extra effort every time to ensure that your children have the best on-field/court experience, emphasize teamwork, and learn life skills through sports. Our staff are required to complete our extensive certification process.

OTHER CAMP INFO: Skyhawks Sports Camps are SAFETY FOCUSED!

At Skyhawks we go the extra mile to focus on safety, and we have a long-standing proven safety track record and processes to prove it. For example, all Skyhawks Sports camps start and end with our unique safety process called Gate System and Parking Lot Duty. This process is where coaches come and greet both parents and campers in the parking lot when parents pull up to drop off their children.

Our staff guide the kids onto the field/court and out of harms way by funneling them into our gate system. Eye contact is maintained from each one of our staff members until the kids make it onto the field/court where they are grouped by age. This efficient process ensures safety. Additionally, it develops a level of trust between parent, coach, and child that ultimately leads to a fun and skill-focused camp for youth.

Often, the success of a show is determined by the number of tickets sold or the overall presentation. After all, that's what makes a better show...theater skills are really life skills!

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: JH Adventure Camp—The theme for our 2014 Jr. High Adventure Camp is GAME ON taken from 1 Corinthians 9:25 “Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.” Campers will be stretched to their limits physically, mentally and spiritually through daily “training sessions”. The lessons learned will be put to use throughout the week. Be prepared to be suspended in a high ropes course, battle the rapids of the White Salmon River, brave the dark of deep caves, find your way through the wilderness, and compete against other tribes for the Crown of Victory!

Grand Camp— “Grand Camp is an absolute must for any grandparent interested in a significant investment in their grandkids. Ruth and I LOVED it when we attended last year. Jonah provides all the essentials... food, lodging, activities for the kids and a challenging speaker. You just have to love on your grandkids and maybe do the zip line with them!! We'll be back this coming year. Beats Disneyland for our family!!” (Doug Hazen)

Kids’ Drama Camp—NEW!! Brand-new this year! Kids, please join us for the most fun, creative camp ever! This camp is for the young actors in your family, as well as the behind-the-scenes kids. The week will be jam-packed with activities this age group loves, including a week-long, top-secret mystery to solve, along with learning a fun drama with a great spiritual message. Plan to join us on Thursday at 1:30 pm for the performance!

River Adventure Program— NEW!! If you are college-aged and adventure hungry, you’ll want to join us for our first-ever RAP. This will start with an intense relationship-building day on our High/Low Challenge Course, then move to a three-day trip of 40 miles on the scenic Deschutes River with one day of hiking. Each night you will be camped out under the stars, and be challenged spiritually, while making new memories and life-long friends. Space is very limited! Ultimate Kids’ Camp— Start with a carnival, add water games, interactive chapels, crazy skits, fun music and what do you get? Ultimate Kids' Camp! All the activities at this camp are geared toward 4th-7th graders so everything is relevant and entertaining for the kids who come! Come have the time of your life learning about Jesus!

Primary Camp— From bouncy inflatable, to awesome games, to our traditional boat races, Primary Camp is filled with activities that kids love! Our chapels are very hands-on and experiential, our afternoons packed with fun, interactive games, and our message is to share solid Biblical truths for kids to build their lives on. Although it is short, Primary Camp is packed full of adventure and activities that will leave your kids begging for more!

Moto Camp— NEW!! When we asked for brand-new summer camp ideas last fall, we never saw this one coming! Drake “Moto-man” Stewart will direct this first-ever motorcycle co-ed camp. Kids need to bring their own motorcycle and… Well, the details are being hammered out currently. Space is limited. Stay tuned for more information!

NW Summer Camp— Join several great youth groups, as well as individual campers, for a week of solid biblical teaching, along with a packed schedule of activities from high ropes to caving to hiking. This camp is known for its strong biblical foundation, experiential learning, and tons of FUN!

Man Camp— Man Camp is the place where guys will be guys and get to spend the week playing with their favorite Big toys - cars, tools, guns and big machinery, as well as eat awesome 'man' food! We will also learn how to be a man after God's heart in today's society. Get ready to get your hands dirty doing the things guys love!

G.I.R.L.’s Camp— The theme for this year’s GIRL’s camp is LIVE NOW taken from 1 Timothy 4:12, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.” We will focus on what it means to follow Jesus all in and set an example to the people around them—even if they are young. It’s easy to be a fan of Jesus in High School and then decide to follow deeper after that. The heart for camp this year is that the girls would dive in and be an example RIGHT NOW!

HS Adventure Camp— NEW!! HSAC is rising to a new level of adventure as we begin a partnership with YD Adventures! Not only will the age-old favorites be on the schedule (challenge course, white water rafting, caving, tribal counsel, etc.), but you’ll find yourselves learning back-country skills while backpacking in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest and spending a full day of serious rock climbing at Horsethief Butte! This is a very relational, team-building camp planned for mature, upper-grade, physically active students. Space is limited.

Northwest Soccer Camp is the longest-running soccer camp program on the West Coast, if not the nation, provides the ultimate camp experience for today's up-and-coming soccer players. At Bastyr University, adjacent to St. Edward Park, our resident camps comprise programs for Future Stars ages 7-9; Field Players and Goalkeepers ages 10-17; Specialty camps for ages 12-17 include World Class Goalkeeping with Paul Barron (EPL) and Marcus Hahnemann (Seattle Sounders) and Finishing School with Steve McCrath (Barry University) and Elite Week (directed by Steve McCrath).

All campers receive a free soccer ball. Resident camps begin Sunday at 3 p.m. and conclude with an awards ceremony at 11:15 a.m. Friday. Space is limited.

Elite camps feature technical, tactical and positional play for advanced players seeking a greater challenge. Details at This Website Link.

Our coaching staff is selected for their ability to challenge young soccer players to improve and advance their playing skills. They also strive to provide each camper with experiences replete with hard work, as well as fun and the value of teamwork.

Our coach-to-camper ratio for ages 7-9 is 1:8 and 1:15 for older age groups. However, our team teaching concept sometimes means a 1:1 ratio. The underlying philosophy is that each child is an "individual" needing the utmost in personal attention and tutoring. This provides a meaningful learning environment for your child and allows for greater interaction between coach and player.

Resident campers can expect two challenging training sessions per day in addition to league games each afternoon. Sessions focus not only on basic skills and the development of technical and tactical play, but also stress fitness, good training habits and good sporting behavior. Day campers can expect one challenging training session per day in addition to league games in the afternoon.

For Elite campers, evaluations providing comments and perspective from each camper's coach are distributed at closing ceremonies. Each evaluation is handwritten by the coach which provides a personalized approach.

Off-field activities include everything from proper rest breaks to fun-filled afternoon and evening activities. The Bastyr campus, located on the northeast shore of Lake Washington, offers a friendly and scenic setting that provides a quiet, sylvan atmosphere for training and relaxation. Campers choose from a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, including soccer-adaptable games and other free-time options such as trail hikes, Campus Olympics, movies (mostly big time soccer games), and one of the finest arts and crafts programs--all under the watchful eyes and gracious tutelage of caring counselors.

All goalkeeping sessions are designed for beginners through elite-level play.

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: The generous support of alumni and friends provides scholarships for young people who otherwise would not be able to attend camp. Our philosophy is to award a little to as many as possible (typically the maximum award is limited to $100 per camper). All scholarship applications and awards are handled very discreetly so that no one at camp will be aware that a camper is receiving scholarship assistance.

Applications are accepted between February 14 and May 15. Early application is encouraged.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Founded in 2014 by Austin parents Allan and Heather Staker, Brain Chase is the product of his filmmaking/tech background and her online education expertise. They are both Harvard-educated and their 5 children were the inspiration behind the creation of this revolutionary new summer program

Brain Chase is a 6-week summer learning challenge disguised as a massive global treasure hunt for 2nd−8th graders. A golden globe has been buried somewhere on earth – and it contains the key to a safe deposit box holding a $10,000 college scholarship fund. Participants who complete an hour of online summer learning activities each day will unlock secret animated webisodes that hold the clues to the globe’s whereabouts. Guess the treasure’s location first, and you’ll be the one on a plane to dig it up.

Enrollment is limited to the first 5,000 entrants.
Kickoff is June 30. Last registration July 18.

- See more at: This Website Link

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Additional children from same household are half off for each registration.

OTHER CAMP INFO: You spend 10 months of every year in school, but much of that hard work likely vanishes during summer break. Who wants to do boring worksheets when school’s out? Brain Chase is a summer enrichment program that’s FUN. Action-packed animations, mysterious packages in the mail, and the hunt for buried treasure turn learning into an adventure. It’s FLEXIBLE. You’ll do the challenge when you want, where you want, and at your own pace. And it’s CUSTOMIZED. You get to work at your own level. - See more at: This Website Link

Our staff strives to make sure that each child feels special and comes away with the values and experiences that they may treasure for a lifetime.

 24 modern cabins (each sleeps 10 12)
 Full meal service available
 Multipurpose lodge
 Hiking trails
 Archery
 Meeting areas

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: A campers time at camp is divided between unit time, cabin activities, free-choice time and all-camp events. Each day we have flagpole gatherings, chapel, waterfront activities, cabin clean up, work areas and siesta after lunch. Day and night hikes are extremely popular.

Once a week, weather permitting, each cabin joins with another for a sleep-out. This often includes a long hike (1 7 miles) and a night out under the stars. Younger cabins stay close to camp, while older campers explore further away from camp. Backpacks or bags to carry sleeping bags and water bottles are helpful. The two oldest cabins may have the opportunity to bike about 30 miles from camp for their overnight.

We have three campfires with songs and crazy staff skits with a special sticks campfire on the last evening. One night is reserved for a carnival and a camp dance. These events conclude around 9:30pm, and lights are out between 10:30 and 11:30pm. Wake up bell is at 8:30am.

Free-choice activities include arts & crafts, archery, climbing, sports, waterfront and wilderness activities. We also offer plenty of new and unique activities each day such as turtle hunts, random parades, stream hikes, boat races and a Shark Swim across the lake. This is a great time for campers to be with friends in different cabins.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: The Camp Reed Counselor in Training (CIT) two-week program is designed for 15 & 16 year olds that will be entering their sophomore year of high school in Fall 2014. This very popular two week program consists of a Work Week and a Bike Trip. It is designed to provide a comprehensive youth experience where each individual is encouraged to reach his/her full potential.

The philosophy behind the Camp Reed CIT program is founded in an outdoor experience where the participant is challenged physically, mentally, socially and spiritually. It is fun, challenging and life changing!

CIT Leaders are experienced and mature Camp Reed staff who utilize group dynamics to encourage each participant to learn more about themselves and others in the group. They have the opportunity to work as a team as well as to practice leadership and group dynamic skills. This philosophy is the key to maintaining focus throughout the programs entirety.

In order for the CIT program to accomplish its objective, each participant will be held to a high level of commitment and maturity. The CIT program is a transition for participants from camper to young adult. Expectations are higher in areas of personal responsibility, maturity and accountability. CIT Leaders will therefore treat CITs more like young adults than campers.

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Camperships are available for any Camp Reed program - Mini Camp, Traditional Camp, CIT, and JC programs. We advise you to complete the campership process before registering your child for camp, as camperships are not guaranteed. For the complete process, visit: This Website Link

More information is available on our website This Website Link or by calling the camp office.

CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Dance, Theater, Music/Band, Fine Arts/Crafts, Waterfront/Aquatics, Sailing, Adventure, Travel, Wilderness/Nature, and more. Archery, Ropes/Challenge Course, Nature, Kayaking, Canoeing, Overnight Camping, & Multi-day Outcamp Trips. Recreational Activities Include Soccer, Frisbee, Volleyball, Basketball, Capture The Flag & Other Field Games.

CAMP FACILITIES: Campers and Staff live in canvas tipis, in units of 6-8 tipis, with three people per tipi. Third and fourth graders live in platform tents. We have an open-air lodge for dining and all-camp events, and two shower houses, one for each side of camp. The bulk of our activities take place outdoors - on the Waterfront, in the Challenge Course, the Archery range, Craft Shop porch or out in the woods exploring our property.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our program is based on creating a community living and learning situation for camper units of the same age or grade. Campers learn to cooperate with and support other members of their peer group, while moving through our program areas as a unit. While we have several free-choice opportunities throughout the session, our campers learn and grow as individuals while working through activities and challenges as a unit.
All of our staff go through a two-week staff training together, preparing program areas, practicing safety procedures, working with equipment and attending important sessions covering topics from working with children to bullying and child-abuse prevention.

Each camper unit has two unit leaders who attend all activities with that unit and provide support for each camper while facilitating team building and group bonding. These unit leaders are in addition to our program teaching staff, allowing our staff:camper ratio to be at least 1:3. Units are schedule to participate in activities week by week, including drama, archery, nature, adobe oven, garden, high and low ropes course elements, canoeing, kayaking, sailing and an endless amount crafts activities.

In addition to our daily programs, all camper units go on overnight camping trips once per week, and beginning at age 13 participate in multi-day outcamp trips. These excursions include hiking, canoeing, kayaking, sailing and biking. There are many opportunities for campers of different ages to interact with each other, including all-camp activities in the evenings such as square dances, and special events days.

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Scholarship applicants submit a camper application and scholarship forms by Dec 31st of each year for the next summer. Awards are announced by March 1st. Approximately 20-25 families receive financial aid each year. Most awards cover a portion of tuition, and our focus for awards is geared towards families with an income of $50,000 or less.

CAMP FACILITIES: Our classes are designed so that students can learn technology skills while engaged in fun and interesting projects. Our goal is to have students learn how to do some amazing things with technology in a supportive and fun atmosphere.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Each TechKnowHow® camp features a teaching team of one lead instructor and one assistant instructor. Lead instructors are often school teachers during the year, or professionals who work in the technology field. They are joined by instructors who are typically college students, often majoring in education or computer science. All instructors complete training, both in the specific course work which they will teach, as well as in general student interaction and camp management. Although our staff has varied backgrounds, all share an interest and ability in teaching technology skills to students! Our average camper:staff ratio is 10:1.
